Exclusive: CIA Station Chief in Algeria Accused of Rapes

If he's guility he should pay for his crimes. It appears they have damning evidence too.

The CIA's station chief at its sensitive post in Algeria is under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department for allegedly raping at least two Muslim women who claim he laced their drinks with a knock-out drug, U.S. law enforcement sources tell ABC News.

Officials say the 41-year old CIA officer, a convert to Islam, was ordered home by the U.S. Ambassador, David Pearce, in October after the women came forward with their rape allegations in September.

The discovery of more than a dozen videotapes showing the CIA officer engaged in sex acts with other women has led the Justice Department to broaden its investigation to include at least one other Arab country, Egypt, where the CIA officer had been posted earlier in his career, according to law enforcement officials.

The U.S. State Department referred questions to the Department of Justice, which declined to comment.

"It has the potential to be quite explosive if it's not handled well by the United States government," said Isobel Coleman, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations who specializes in women's issues in the Middle East.

"This isn't the type of thing that's going to be easily pushed under the carpet," she said.

How will the Muslim world react? This is bad.

Why do i get the feeling President Obama's life is about to be made worse? Bet Bush is happy he got out before this blew over :/

Well, i vote we just hand over the CIA officals and allow the country to punish them [via stoning] unfortunately the chances of them getting fair trials and being chucked in jail seems higher *sighs*

If true, he should be seriously punished by the CIA. He should then go on trial and be punished for this crimes.

He should be punished and then go on trial? Isn't that backwards?

I'm sorry but what a bunch of bull**** if the muslim world does get mad. Usually when a woman is raped they stone her to death but when it's not a muslim doing the raping, it's time to get pissed at the man finally when that should always be the case. I wonder if these women will be punished at all or if they will let it slide so they can hate us more.

Now don't get me wrong, I think this guy is horrendous and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent, but the obvious hypocrisy about this is staggering.

If the muslim world was people with rationale individuals, nothing more then demanding this perp see justice would happen.

Since the muslim world is not peopled by rationale individuals I'm sure this will lead to the usual hate anger and violence.

That's something I always was curious about, how can one rationalize punishing a person for something that wasn't their own doing like rape, the word denotes that she didn't have unmarried sex willingly, that's definitely the ultimate insult, punished cruelly after suffering one of the worst violations one can endure, eesh.

I don't know. How does the Muslim world act when another Muslim commits a crime like this?

Oh yeah, they usually stone the women.:shock:

I know MANY Muslims (women and men) who drink alcohol.

I've tasted alcohol before, it was disgusting but hey. I'd rather drop dead than admit it to my family tho
