    In fact it's basically necessary.
And why does your tone suggest that you do not care about children?

You are using so many words to call me "stupid". However, if you really want to I can take you out back and smack you around (all in a metaphorical sense) anytime you would like; yes I am talking about in debate-- I wouldn't want to cause you much excitement, as it seems to be easy to get you all excited.

Sorry if I had more important things to do then read about ACORN. Apparently it's a touching issue to you, and an important one, I am seriously very sorry if I have offended you in any way. I feel a little bit bad not knowing about something that you get off on.

I don't "get off on" anything to do with politics or scandals, but thanks for playing.

ACORN has been involved in voter fraud in every election since 2000. They register dead people, Mickey Mouse, the Dallas Cowboys football team, etc... If you haven't heard of ACORN, you haven't been paying close attention to the past 5 elections at all. Let's just say that ACORN is equivalent to taxpayer money going to "faith based" initiatives, only voter fraud is actually illegal.

Maybe next time instead of looking so ignorant, you'll actually do some research before commenting. But since most of the public is uninformed because they don't watch more than one media outlet, you're in good company. I just find it interesting (and entertaining) that someone would be posting on a politics forum and expect to be taken seriously when they don't even know who ACORN is and why a taxpayer would have an issue with our tax money going to them.
Welfare (Food Stamps, WIC, etc...) are not entitlements. They are taxpayer funded handouts and shouldn't be called entitlements at all. Social Security and Veteran's benefits are 'Entitlements' because the people receiving them are entitled to them. They were earned and paid for by the recipients.

    1) I don't watch TV.
    2) Past 5 elections. Obama I was 19 years old. Bush Jr. 2nd Term I was 15, Bush Jr. 1st Term I was 11, Clinton 2nd Term I was 7 Clinton 1st term I was 3

So, no I wasn't paying close attention to the "past five" elections.
How about instead of calling people stupid, you man up and actually inform and not act like a complete asshole.

(Does that seem like a good use of money to anyone else?)

    Obviously to Democrats it does.

Which is why the Republicans should let this package pass without one of their votes. It is designed to fail. To inflate the bottom line on future budgets, to entrench socialist programs for the benefit of the Democrat Party.

If it is so great, Obama can stand there with his Libs and tout its success. Obama needs Republicans for when it fails... not to make it succeed. This is why his "I won" and "don't listen to Rush" comments were so numbskull like politically.

He rammed a stick in his opponents eye... and though they may not reveal the irritation of the moment, I hope it woke them up and got them playing hardball.

These programs should never pass and the republicans should do everything they can to make sure it fails. Because once it passes it will not go away.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

I walked by the ACORN national head quarters for years and had no idea who they were. Then a friend got me to go door to door one night collecting money for them.

    I just gotta laff.
