Actually, even they do spend it as currently proposed by Obama they cannot argue that they kept their promises. Obama and the Democrats have been promising immediate economic action.

However, in these proposals what we see is action years down the road.

A new CBO report has pulled the rug out from under the Obama stimulus package. Of $355 billion in infrastructure and other cash outlays, only $136 billion would be spent by October 2010. And out of the roughly $100 billion in infrastructure spending, only $26 billion would be spent in fiscal 2009.

So much for a quick and immediate jolt to the economy.

All of Obama's promises come with an expiration date...all of them.

Actually, it was not Obama who was president when the government began nationalizing banks last year. It was not Obama who was president when the government began nationalizing the auto companies. It was not Obama who supported handing out welfare money to those who screwed up. It was not Obama who was president when the government dictated the terms of the takeover of Wachovia bank. It was not Obama who was president when the government began taking over Fannie and Freddie. It was not Obama who was president when money was being taken from the wallet of ME, the taxpayer, and redistributed to others.

What was that guy's name again, whose veto crayon could have stopped all of these Socialist measures, and many others?
