Think he could have sent a memo to the effect that corporate jets are the poster boy of greed and pollution?

After all, shouldn't the prez set the example. Shouldn't His minions walk the walk?

Anyone can say Carbon offset.
It takes a person who is genuinely concerned to actually do something about their own Carbon Imprint.
Wonder if Gore came by jet?
Big problem with Democrats, they say the words, expect the broad mass of their electorate to do what they say, but always neglect to follow their own words.
 
Obama wasn't president at the time, and even if he was, he has no control over celebrities actions. I agree that many of the celebrities attending are hypocrites, but trying to claim its Obama's fault is both false and slimy. You might appear less hyper-partisan if you at least let him actually do something as president before starting the attacks.

He couldn't get some staffer to get on the horn to those VIP's and tell them to tow the line?

Do you think he even knew what the specific travel plans of every person attending were? Was he supposed to look into his crystal ball and see who was going to come in a jet?

Are you going to blame your spilled coffee on Obama next? It makes about as much sense.
 
Obama is a whipping boy for conservatives and will be far,far away from the left, wait and see.

How do you know he didn't say anything and those people just ignored him and used their freedom to do what they wanted. You are saying he should have somehow knew about it and then didn't do anything about it- back it up and prove it. Otherwise, you look rather......silly.

I think the word you're looking for is 'hypocricy', and the target you need to apply it to is 'the left'.
 
Economy is in huge trouble, we must take drastic action, we all must be ready to sacrifice!

The world is going to over heat, we must cut back!

Unless you're a rich liberal flying to O's inauguration, then it's okay to waste and hurt the environment... it's for a good cause.
