Props for "You can't handle the truth!"
I essentially agree with you. I just think the timing should be considered....
To go from "the way it is" to "official policy" can cause all sorts of issues on any matter.
I'm willing to admit the AF is not completely useless.Yeah everyone makes fun of the Airforce until the JDAMs start flying.
And the hottest guys apparentlyWe have the hottest chicks.
In the everyday world that is fine. The military is very different.
Having your life on the line has nothing to do with it.
Not about gays, about life in the military.
Why do I have to keep repeating myself.
I'm willing to admit the AF is not completely useless.
And the hottest guys apparently
What if your not in the middle of a war zone and your living in the barracks back in the states? Like I said women and men have seperate rooms showers and rest rooms. Why wouldn't straight and openly gay men not have seperate facilities?
We have the hottest chicks.
That's a toss up there between the Air force and Marines, but I'd definitely agree that a female looks better in a Marine uniform rather than an Air force one.
I've never seen a female Marine. But that may be because the women who join the Marines look just like the men who do.
It has hurt enlistments enough without adding more at this time.
Who is pretending that they don't? I never said or implied this. I don't want to know who is or is not, period. It would be an unwelcome distraction no matter how much you would like to candy coat it.
.It would affect moral as many people in the military would be very uncomfortable to say the least
I can honestly say as much as I agree gay people should be allowed to serve, I probably would have balked at joining.
Ok, so you don't want to back up your percentages.Your use of fonts makes me want to say...... no......
Why don't you?Hmm, anyone else find this true? :lol::roll: I didn't.

Off duty things were completely different in how the troops integrated.
e.g. Fort Drum:
Two clubs operated on post by AAFES. One called Spinners (music orientated), the other called Pennants (sports orientated), they both operated at night as dance clubs.
Spinners was basically a black club, while Spinners was basically non black.
Spinners had to be shut down because of the conduct of the black soldiers.
The last straw was when they turned a car over in the parking lot and set it aflame.
My understanding was that the club was shut down for some time after I left Fort Drum but has since reopened.
e.g. MFO, Sinai Egypt.
(An assignment that is so political that if the Sergeant Major is white, the majority of First Sergeants have to be non-white, and vise versa.)
Each Military Contingent has it's own Club/Bar/Mess, the U.S.'s is basically black, seldom do you find U.S. personnel of a different ethnicity in the Bar and rarely do you find those from another Contingent in the U.S.'s bar.
Not the same for the other Contingent Bars. (except maybe for the French, lol.)
This indicates that your use of the term "successfully integrated" is subjective to say the least.
Now if you would like to speak about what is generally unspoken of on dutythat cause underlying tension between races, it would also be an indication that your use of the term "successfully integrated" is subjective to say the least.

Okay.

Yes, we do. Thank you!
Man, I am not reading that font, sorry.
You may have a problem with your "clear type" because that font was designed to be easily read.Man, I am not reading that font, sorry.
You guys are just too cute to do the real fighting, that's all
You may have a problem with your "clear type" because that font was designed to be easily read.
Otherwise, you are just using it as an excuse.
lol... maybe so (actually "absolutely!"), but we are the first in and we do most of the damage before other branches go in and finish the job.
The Air Force can be given credit with ending the first Gulf War quickly. That includes gays who served then.
I hope you realize that since the font was designed to be easily read that your claims that it makes your head spin seem to be fictitious, unless of course your "clear type" isn't set accurately. No its really annoying for one, Two I have a cold today and looking at that crap makes my head spin....
Anyone else think it's damned amusing that one of the banner ads for this thread is for GayMilitaryDating.com?
