So if someone gets cancer while they're serving in the Coast Guard, that counts as a casualty?

    I can't. This is important.

    No not at all.

The premise is stupid and unrealistic.

Race and who you sleep with are not connected in any way.

Of course I was in the military a long time, hell what do I know.

I think people are people. All different. While it would not nor did it affect my readiness, it may some others. Like I said. If you are going to do this, why during wartime.

OK, so if your commander-in-chief orders you to shower with an openly gay dude, you're trained to follow that order without question. And if you don't, you can and should be dishonorably discharged. Glad we agree.

So you acknowledge that gays serve in the military. You just want the government to pretend that they don't. How absurd.

Race and who you are attracted to are similar because you have no control over it. It's stupid to expect people who are attracted to the same sex to just "deal with it" and choose to sleep with women even though there's no attraction there. That's stupid and unrealistic.

I know you've showered with gay men.

Nonsense. Point out a black man on the street. Now point out a gay man.

Wait, people are being forced to sleep with women? Why haven't I heard of this!

No. It's more like if you break your arm during training or suffer from heat stroke during PT. That would be a casualty. Injuries related to military service I guess sums it up.

I said that they are similar in that way. I didn't say that they were similar in every way.

Well, if they want sex then they are forced to choose to have sex with a woman, right?

Absolutely. This will not hurt enlistments or effect moral.

That is your opinion and you are welcome to it.

You have never served and I don't think you understand the repercussions, and are basing your opinion on pure emotion.
