Very very interesting. They say that there have been no reports of abuse or neglect. What else would cause them (they removed all three children) to be removed from the home?

A young boy named Adolf Hitler, who attracted national attention when a local supermarket refused to make a birthday cake with his name on it, has been taken away from his parents by authorities, according to a local website.

LehighValleyLive.com reports that Adolf and his sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation, 1, and 8-month-old Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie, were removed from their home by New Jersey's Division of Youth and Family Services.

No reason was given for why the children were removed, however, and Holland Township police chief David Van Gilson told the site they had not received any reports of abuse or negligence.

So much for freedom of speech. I mean, I don't agree with the parents neo-nazi bull**** ideology at all and I think it's atrocious that they would name their kid after Adolf Hitler, but they really have the right to do so if they want to. If we are going to allow freedom of speech from everyone that means everyone, including neo-nazis. How much of a threat are they anyway? Their numbers have to be dwindling pretty low at this point.

While I do think that naming your kid after one of the most despized men ever is abusive, I'm not sure it's enough to warrant removal from the home. I would suspect there's something else.

I'll go one step further than Middle. While I agree that naming their child that could be construed as abusive, I also see making it "all about them" and taking the issue into the media majorly is further just exploiting their childrens and rather ****ty parenting.

That said, if this is the only thing that they're using for the cause of this is absolutely wrong and those kids shouldn't be taken away.

Jeez what the hell is wrong with these people? For their youngest daughter Honszlynn Hinler I wondered what crazy **** that was named after and this is what I found out:

Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell is named after a prominent Nazi figure, in her case, the feminine version of Hitler's police commander, Heinrich Himmler. Her parents claim they chose the names for their children because "no one else in the world would have that name."

 Oh yes, because none of these names have anything at all to do with their beilefs, they just wanted unique names.

I think that the parents where being rather ignorant with the choice of the name, but WTF. The State can't just take those kids, not if there wasn't any abuse or anything going on. This is way too much, the State clearly needs to be sued and sued hard over this one. Further restrictions against the power of the State must be installed on this so that they can't, at their discretion, go in and take someone's kids for no reason.

I didn't mean to imply that they were taken due to their names. That wouldn't make any sense whatsoever. I think there's more to this than we know. I'm just interested to know what it is. (I checked other articles to see if there was any additional evidence, and there was not.)

If one of us hears why, post it!

I'm going to guess that anyone who names their kid after Nazis probably is cooking meth in their bath tub.

Maybe someone issued a death threat to the children and this has nothing to do with the parents?

North south Jersey you mean, PA border town, definatley flyers fans. ;)

And go figure, if you want the state to act like nazis name your kids after one.

I really don't see any way that they wouldn't be Devils fans or quite possibly Rangers fans. The Flyers aren't the PA team they're the Philly team, that's why people in Philly suburbs are Flyers fans (similar to how outside of the south counties all the Eagles flags start to get replaced with Giants flags). Woooo maybe they're Penguins fans!

So basically Rangers fans are neo-nazis, is what I'm taking from this. And hate children.

I starting to wonder that if the whole of this report turns out true, and without warning or cause the State took this child; that someone needs to be brought up on kidnapping charges. This would be worse than an individual kidnapping someone because it's actually the State doing it. It's hard to say, but the State has to produce something which gave it reason to take the child, and that can not be just the name of the child; there has to be a real threat. Without that, I can't think of this as anything less than kidnapping by the authority.

Maybe the mom was breast feeding them on facebook. :2razz:

Freedom of speech be damned.
With freedom of speech comes a need for responsibility and respect for others.
I love to see these nazis thrown in to a slave labor camp...for life..

I surely hope you jest. You can't round up a group of people you don't like and throw them into detention camp for no reason. We did it to the Japanese in WW II, and it wasn't the right thing to do. Germany did it to the Jews and other groups in WW II, and it wasn't the right thing to do. You can't just throw people into camps with no reason.

If we are going to outlaw certain names then we need to approve of legal names at birth. Maybe the doctor could do that.

Well, I happen to value the freedom of speech a bit more I guess. This is a diverse country and there is room for all beliefs, no matter how absurd. Oh, and by the way...by throwing nazis into a slave labor camp you are no better than they are.

he aint the first "adolf hitler" in this country,.

OMG....git em! We need to round up all the adolf hitlers and throw them into earthworm's camps. That's how he got away, see. He didn't shoot himself in a bunker, he split his soul into 7 pieces and hid them in various items around the world.

*gasps*

He's Voldemort!
