Yes and you taking a quick stap in the back at your fellow far left, while pretending to be a casual observor, is not slimy at all is it?

I don't think you are even describing actual anarchists as opposed to people who just go to make trouble who may or may not call themselves anarchists.
Meh, I'm obviously referring to anarchists of the black bloc variety.

Anarchists are a hell of a lot better than communists anyway. How many gulags did they set up? How many millions did they kill?

    Really.

Do you find the deaths of about 100 million people at the hands of Marxists last century funny? Those in glass houses should not throw stones.

    Yes, really.

No, I find it funny that you would use that against a Trotskyist, as if that has any meaning or significance to me or what I believe.

    100 million people

    Wow, you fail so hard.

You can't guarantee either. The cops that lit up that guy in New York a few years ago just got off.

He might lose his job. Jail time, no way.
And why does your tone suggest that you do not care about children?

    Which guy?

    He might lose his job.
    He already resigned.

    Jail time, no way.
I don't know the case you're referring to, but someone died here. It's not an abuse case and there's no self-defense argument. There's no doubt in my mind that he will serve time in jail.

In the Diallo case, the defense was that the guy refused an order to stop and show his hands, ran away, and then turned and reached into his pocket to pull something out. The jury in that case acquitted the cops because they felt that there wasn't sufficient proof to show that what they did was criminal.

In this situation, there appear to be few to none of those mitigating factors.

That might excuse them shooting him a few times. I remember when that came out, I did the math, they had to have reloaded.

That was the Sean Bell case, not the Diallo one.

Plenty of cops go to jail. The guy in the Abner Louima case got 30 years.

Yeah, the guy resigned almost immediately. From what I remember, he's staying quiet at the moment, though worse for him, it seems that he's unwilling to talk with the investigators about what exactly happened.

BART Police officer involved in fatal shooting resigns
...we honor leaders for what they achieve, but we often prefer to close our eyes to the way they achieve it...

In the real world, politics is compromise and democracy is politics. Anyone who would be a statesman has to be a successful politician first. Also, a leader has to deal with people and nations as they are, not as they should be. As a result, the qualities required for leadership are not necessary those that we would want our children to emulate - unless we wanted them to be leaders.
