Tuesday. Chicagoans really put extra emphasis on the first syllable.

So I call you a partisan and you attack Joe the Plumber using partisan talking points? Thanks for proving my point.

Really? When was the last time you applied for a job as a journalist? have there been instances where people became reporters/correspondents/commentators/writers/et al. I'm sure, but I'll bet if you could find one there would be a better reason than, he was a plumber. You're just trying to excuse this ridiculous appointment.
Yeah, uh, my hourly job is at a news radio station, so yeah, I am in journalism, I majored in Broadcasting, it had heavy jounalistic elements, many of the people I work with do NOT have a journalism degree. So what was your criteria for judging journalism credentials again?

I'm really getting sick of the "right" trying to tell us all that being elite is bad. It's not bad, being a dumbass is bad not vise versa. This is an example of what I'm talking about when I say that the "right" is hell bent on dumbing down our nation. Being ignorant should be something looked down on, not praised.
I never said you were elite, I said you were practicing elitISM, that is a nice way of saying snobbery. Frankly I am sick of people thinking they are better than others because they went to college, or calling blue collar workers stupid because they don't have a four year degree, can you figure out the timing on a Ford Fairlane, or completely rebuild a pipe system for a house, etc. No? then you are no better than those who can, and again, Journalism can be learned in the field, it's not something that requires a degree from Cornell.

So your argument is that since there have been well spoken dumbasses we should just assume that a dumb dumbass can't be any worse? Great thinking there.
First of all, Joe the Plumber can't be all that stupid if he landed that correspondents job, and, his question was intelligent enough to make Obama stammer, so I don't see where you get off calling him dumb.

Ah no, I'm talking about people who have shown us that they aren't very smart or intellectually curious. A car mechanic may or may not be very smart and still be able to fix a car but that's a different thing isn't it? I think if you are going to comment on knowing the basics of human intelligence you might consider that there are different kinds of intelligence. Just because you are smart enough to put plumbing tape on a leak doesn't mean you're smart enough to be a Senator. Wouldn't you agree?
So now you use the "different kinds of intelligence" argument since it helps you out. I already know there are different kinds of intelligence since I had to take multiple behavioral science classes in college, it is YOU claiming people are stupid because they don't have book knowledge. And many plumbers, carpenters, and oil men in my area have shown a better working knowledge of this country and business than the average four year MBA graduate.

Really? you don't think there is a difference in the intelligence level of Obama compared to Joe the plumber? I think if you were to ask the ENTIRE COUNTRY who they would trust information from more, Obama or JTP...
Let's see, Joe asked Obama a question about taxes and got a template answer, who looked smarter?

They are not, they think they are. I am not suprised you have not pickd up on that yet.

Hope this post finds you well.
I don't even break out my I.Q. unless asked at a social function because I don't think it makes me better or worse than anyone else, which is why I love it when someone on the left starts acting like they are part of some politically exclusive brain trust and find out they don't have as much mental firepower as they think.

No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

It seems opinion journalism is taking over. Perhaps that is the problem, I--for one--do not care about the opinion of the newsman/woman. I just want the news, straight up.
