    Yeah, just one...
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

BUT...supposedly it was organized and commissioned by Libya. Your point is wrong. Based on your thinking 9-11 was committed by Saudi Arabia nor Al Qaeda.

Libya was behind the Pan Flight 73 hijacking, not the PLO.

When I and most of the rest of the world with the exception of you refer to the west in the contect of Islamic extremist War on the West I am refering to Western Civiliztion. I am not refering to geographical location. Its obvious you need to be educated further. Please stop making a fool of yourself and except the fact that you are wrong and then move on please, its quite embarrassing.

Here are more references to the west in the context of Islamic Extremist war on the west.

    Your point is wrong?

Sorry but you are confused. They are two seperate Pan Am flights (my former employer)

First there was Pan Am Flight 73 that was hijacked on September 5, 1986, by four armed men of the Abu Nidal Organization. Part of the secular, leftwing, Palestinian rejectionist front, so called because they reject proposals for a peaceful settlement with Israel, the ANO was formed after a split in 1974 between Abu Nidal and Yasser Arafat's Fatah faction within the Palestine Liberation Organization PLO.

Abu Nidal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My bad, It was the Abu Nidal Organization not the PLO. However it had nothing to do with Libya. How ever Abu Nidal was once a member of the PLO prior to 1974

Then there was Pan Am Flight 103 which on Dec. 21, 1988 detonated over Lockerbie Scottland. That is the flight which was organized and commissioned by Libya.

Libya has been accused of sponsoring the hijacking, as well as carrying out the bombings of Pan Am Flight 103 in 1988 and UTA Flight 772 in 1989. In 1991, a press briefing for an indictment by the U.S. Justice Department over Pan Am 103 said that "Libya provided financial and logistic support to the Abu Nidal Organization hijacking of Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi, Pakistan" and that "the Libyan People's Bureau in Islamabad assisted at least one of the hijackers by providing him with travel documentation.

Ok, Libya may have supported financial and logistical support to the Palestinian Terrorist Organization known as the Abu Nidal Organization responsible for PA Flight 73. You were right. These were acts of terrorism commited by Islamic extremist against the west, you agree?

Apparently Gaddai may have been the mastermind of the attack.

Absolutely I agree but none of them were American citizens (committing the acts of terrorism) except for Timothy McVie and he most definitely was not a Muslim.

The point of this thread is that paranoia of certain less educated Americans causes "misunderstandings" based on ignorance, i.e. being afraid of anything Muslim and being made afraid by garb, skin color or knowledge that the people in question are Muslim. These points overruled all the logic that these people did absolutely nothing wrong, werre humiliated and fingered simply because they were Muslim.
