Brady Campaign sues over guns in parks

If they are afraid to go into parks why don't they lock themselves in their homes given that permit holders are on the public streets, grocery stores, Malls (at least the ones that don't want mass shootings)

Their claim of damages doesn't even pass the smell test

Ah, yes, because someone who has registered himself with the government, attended firearm safety and judgement classes, and has no violent criminal record is the type of person who we need to be worried about.

:doh

The Brady Association needs to shut their foul far-left pie hole.

The 2nd Amendment will NOT be alterted to make a few anti-freedomist asshats happy.

We're all sorry that Brady got shot; however, blaming guns for the death they cause is like blaming food for making one fat.

It's just plain STUPID!

The Brady Association just needs to shut the **** up.

People who have those permits CAN carry ... even if Brady-Nazis don't like it.

Thanks to folks like this, mass shootings have occurred in target rich environments.

That's right, I'm talking about "gun free zones" that these idiots push for. Imagine if someone had a gun at any of those big school shootings... yeah imagine if multiple folks were able to return fire and stop the killings.

What kind of world do we live in where people let feelings kill so many?

Of course, all the hoplophobes like to hold up all the examples of school mass shootings, churches, shopping malls etc. But they never include the fact that there never seems to be a mass shooting at gun shops, gun shows, shooting ranges, or other places that allow guns.

Depends on how much you aggregate it. If everyone had a gun, the massive shootings would likely stop. But you'd definitely have a bunch of smaller shootings. I've seen people on campus and such...most of those people are idiots. If everyone had one, then you raise the chance for accident substantially, and you also raise the chance for crimes of passion (elevated emotional response). No guns, then you allow the occasional big campus shooting.

In reality, it would probably be like my school. Colorado State University allows concealed weapons if you have the proper CCW. The number of students whom choose to employ this is minimal. Thus the probability of someone with a gun being in the right place at the right time to stop a large campus shooting is very low.
