Cynithia McKinney "Relief Boat" rammed by Israeli Navy

Re: Ex-Rep. Cynthia McKinney On Intercepted Boat To Gaza

-- According to one Israeli that I have spoken to, there wasn't a deliberate ramming of the vessel by Israeli navy personnel; the vessel itself accidentally rammed into the Israli navy vessel trying to avoid the close shadowing of the Israeli vessel itself. The CNN video apparently confirms this. Personally, I don't know --

I think what would help is full unedited video - but I doubt CNN would do this just for me and you.

Failing this - (I'm no sea-farer) if all ships have to keep all call records we might find whether the captain is lying or the Israelis. As I started earlier we don't live in the same era as the USS Liberty incident and there is so much more monitoring and scrutiny and record keeping so we might find out soon.

What's wrong with trying to bring aid to the civilians of Gaza?
They're caught in the middle of this through no wrongdoing of their own, after all. Why shouldn't they receive relief from peace activists in the US and the EU?
What right does Israel have to intercept such a mission?

YEAH!!! DEATH TO THE IDIOTS! LET'S KILL THEM ALL!!!

Stay classy.

Im genuinely perplexed at the level of outrage and hatred the posters you qouted are displaying. Why wish death on someone for delivering medical supplys to those that need them? I would have thought that was a good thing:confused:

I eagerly await someone creating a comic opera about this woman.

Looks like Buckwheat had a sex-change if you ask me.

You don't seriously think she gives two-hoots about those people do you? It's all a publicity stunt. In the true tradition of Sharpton and Jackson. She just wants to keep her name in the media.

Besides, why shoot a buncha holes in somebody just to go patch them back up again?

Israel has the right because it is a war zone and they have the right to make sure the enemy doesn't get armed.

Armed with food and medical supplies?
They may think they have that right.
It remains to be seen whether the rest of the civilized world agrees with them.

Nah. For me, it is only at Cynthia McKinney - and it has nothing to do with what just happened. It comes from having lived in Georgia and dealing with her idiocy for six years.

How would Israel KNOW they have ONLY food and medical supplies without an inspection of the boat?

Exactly. Before this latest shooting war started, Israel allowed authorized, inspected humanitarian supplies by truck and by boat, but the reason for the blockade and inspections was because Gaza was receiving arms and explosives mixed in with the little crates of food and meds.

Anyone who tries to steam an unauthorized, uninspected boat into a blockaded war zone knows that they are going to be challenged and probably boarded as soon as they leave international waters. Israel was following the boat, probably to do just that, when the boat apparently started zig-zagging. Apparently the video shoes that the boat zigged when it should have zagged and rammed into the Israeli vessel, not the other way around.

Again, I haven't seen the video, but it apparently exonerates Israel... on this incident, anyway.

Re: Ex-Rep. Cynthia McKinney On Intercepted Boat To Gaza

She got her diploma at the Cindy Sheehan School of Political Science.

I was wondering what ever happened to Cindy until I saw her mopping floors in our high school building last night. She really does a heck of a job. You can see your refection in our floors now. God bless her little heart.

No you dumb ****** your boat was rammed for trying to break the blockade. Too bad they didn't do us all a favor and just sink it with you on board. Bringing supplies to terrorist and getting stopped... imagine that.

Mr V.,I suspected they may have been short on communicateing their true intentions to the Israeli military.Activists often make their own rules as they go along(heck if you follow all the rules how are you going to get anything done). So anyway if anyone wants to provide relief, much needed relief I`m sure,go through the proper channels before entering the channels. P.S. And if as you suggested they were supplying the enemy, they are just darn lucky they weren`t sunk.

They support Hamas, guilt by association. These "peace activist" are bringing aide to Hamas, do you REALLY think the HAmas government wasn't going to take those "aide supplies" and use it for their fighters? You didn't REALLY believe the "poor Palestinian people" were ever going to see so much of a band aide of any supplies did you?

Seriously?

AS I said in that reply above... do you REALLY think those supplies wen't gonna go straight to Hamas and it's fighters? Seriously?

I agree, they should have sunk the boat. I can't stand that racist bitch. The world would be a beter place without her.

You obviously have no clue who Cynthia McKinny is or you would be disappointed that the liberty wasn't sunk and she no longer amongst the living.

They do have that right. All it would take is an advanced notice that a ship with medical supplies was on the way and submission to a search for contraband arms and I am 99.9999% positive that the ship would have ended up at its final destination with no incident.

I completely support Israel's navy in this matter.

There is no news generating event in such behavior... why do it that way?

Anyone who was truly worried about the plight of the Palestinians would do it that way. But this woman is an attention whoring, self absorbed primadonna. So yeah, why would she do it the right way?

I wish the best for the Palestinian people, but that won't come as long as they are under the thumb of, and continue to support the mindset of Hamas. At this point, the only ones that can change that are the people themselves.
