I agree, but Hillary got such a lot of crap from the media for wearing pantsuits, i'm sure the Obamas' publicists have advised that it would be best for their image if Michele wore dresses.
There is already too much talk about her wearing the pants in the family, so to speak.
They're trying to soften her image and feminize her as much as they can.

It's a shame first ladies have to be married to presidents.
    It's nothing more than X's and O's.

I agree about the hair, she needs a new hairstyle. Something fierce, like her. A cute little afro with some banging headbands and wraps or something a little longer and sleeker. As for her style, she's got a great figure and should start showing it off a little more.

"I'd like to see her bring a sense of fashion back to the White House, just like Jacqueline Kennedy did in the 60s," says Mary, who is visiting the museum [of first ladies inaugural dresses] from Pittsburgh.
Style magazine Women’s Wear Daily believes Mrs Obama is an icon in the making.

Maybe I'm hopelessly out of chic but I've never been impressed with Michelle Obama's fashion sense. I think her hair is kind of scary looking and her clothes are boring.

I've also never been super impressed with Jacky O either (the gay community has threatened to excommunicate me if I don't recant).

First wives always look like ladies in their 40s and 50s that wear...what ladies in their 40s and 50s wear.

I'd be way more impressed if she wore designer jeans, chucks and a designer t-shirt. That'd be a genuine first lady fashion fiat.
We should have elected Thompson or Kucinich.

I think her face is kind of beat too.
And why does your tone suggest that you do not care about children?

I swear with her hair the way it is she reminds me of Zira from Planet of the Apes. It could be her mannish frame, too.
