George's Bottom Line
Democrats as a group absolutely lurve the idea as well as the fact of Government expenditure.
In a manner very similar to that practiced by Communists and Socialists, they care little about where the money for expenditure comes from.
They reason (born out by facts) that the Taxpayer always has deep enough pockets that can be readily tapped.
I could surmise that before the next 4 years have passed there will be a Nationally administered sales tax of between 12 to 15%, in addition the current sales tax on fuel will rise to around $1.00 per gallon.
