I can, its not about me, what about the weak? Should they have no protection? Ohh,yes I am talking to an American, lets throw veteran wheel chaired soldiers onto the streets instead of helping the weak of the society like the "insane Europeans" do.

OBVIOUSLY the government needs to limit work hours because its a huge problem in several societies, especially Britain, but also partly Scandinavia and obviously the US.. But let the market take care of you over there, in the end you will all work 100 hour weeks and take pills to avoid sleeping.. Thats your fantasy world..

    It isn't a country.

Norway a kingdom then? I was speaking specifically to Max, not the collective. There are two threads going on simultaneously since Max made the same exact thread twice.

Wasn't Max talking about EU law? The EU is not a country and god willing will never be, at least with England in it.

He was talking of EU law, but in the other thread he posted an example of why it's necessary for Norway due to housing prices. I haven't done ample job of keeping the two threads separate in my arguments, since for all practical purposes they are the same.

Norway isn't part of the EU anyway, fortunately for them.

So this law doesn't even do anything for Max's home country eh? Just trying to limit the time doctors in the UK can work? Odd.

I think he has moved to some Western European country and now considers himself a citizen of Europe or some bollocks. It is at least refreshing that someone is open about the superstate in the making though and doesn't pretend it is just a trading bloc.

I live in Spain though.. I do just damn fine.. Jogging around here on the beach in the morning, going to job around 12, then back around 8 in the evening, and can choose to hit the nightclubs or just chill at home with some random lady. Then I have the 3 day weekend which feels like a vacation every week. Did I mention that the average temperature here is 20 degrees Celsius and that most days are sunny and the ocean warm to swim in? And the ladies they are tan and happy, not pale and tight.

    How about you?

They probably have to adopt the law though, we are in the EEC which makes my country adopt 90ish % of EU laws. But we do not enjoy many of the greatest benefits because of our damn need to be "sovereign" and decide on stupid things ourself. Yuk..

The day Norway become a member of the EU I will move back.
