This is interesting and highly welcome considering the recent history and the history of the Balkans. Lets welcome this little nation with open arms :)

Any reasons we shouldn't?

Because the EU is going to collapse in a few years?

Oh wait, it already has, BOO IRELAND!

Ireland hasn't collapse, its still functions, its a fine nation, good property, good infrastructure and pretty much a solid all around economy which is set in the atlantic as a must for most US-Europe connections. As for Europe collapsing, thats just ridiculous, we are faring far better than the US at the moment, actually doing pretty good considering everything which is going on. France for example is one of the only western countries not in a recession, its actually still growing.. :doh

EU is solid as steel, I can much more easily see the US states breaking away from the federation consider how things are than any of the EU members doing the same thing. :2wave:

I was talking about the Irish NO of the EU's Lisbon Treaty, as well as a correspinding NO from France and Germany.

Most states here in the US are still Unified, I think, fairly well.

An amazingly absurd assertion.

The EU doesn't need the Lisbon treaty to survive, its doing fine already. Either way it will be okay. I do however not like the way the Lisbon treaty has been handled and played out.
The EU need to continue where its strong, development in small stages all the time, not huge reform at the same treaty. We do need one new major treaty, but it shouldn't look anything like the Lisbon treaty.

We do for example need;
-Pan European referendum policies
-Singular defense policy
-Strengthening the CAP and infrastructure programs and make the untouchable and a foundation of our society.
-A single banking market
-A single business and company market and easier and cheaper registration of companies. A single company type treaty.

And a few other things, but those are more important now.

I hope Montenegro will become part sooner rather than later. I believe most people will accept it with open arms.

I will say this: it is ingenious the way the radicals know how to take over the world. Very, very, patiently.

Yah, agree with you on this, the neo-Nazis in the US administration are just doing exactly the same things the Nazis did 60 years ago, but better.

Please point out an example of how our government is doing what the "Nazi's" did?

All the propaganda before the Iraq war and after the Iraq war for example. But, uhh, no, you probably didn't even notice it.. I did.

The "war on terror" is just media propaganda, just like the use of Al-Qaeda in everything that has to do with terrorism is just plain brainwashing to make you afraid. So is Osama Bin Laden, the boogymaaaaaaan. BOOO!

So any government that uses propaganda is now linked to Nazi's?:lol::lol:

So I guess the EU and every other governmental body on earth are doing exactly what the Nazi's did.

I have some bad news for you. The Nazi's did not invent propaganda.

I understand why people are coming to hate Americans all over the world if this is your logic and way of reasoning to make yourself feel better.
Yeah, put more words in my mouth and make fun about something you asked about. ONE example you asked for, not the whole lecture, which I would have given if you had been polite.
Gee.. Out of here, and not ever replying to you again..

Personally, if Montenegro meets the minimum standards for UN membership (Economically and legally), they should be welcomed into the EU. Sadly, the EU is being held hostage by Greece on the Macedonia question, however.

Please point out how comparing our government to Nazi's and our disputing it has anything to do with "making ourselves feel better?"

I did ask politly...

I also did not put any words in your mouth.

So I have come to the conclusion you have no idea what you are talking about. I don't even think you really know what a Nazi is.

Quote me where I said they did.. Are you Dick Chaney? Bye nowz.

I never said you did. I was merely combating your ignorance on what is and is not a Nazi and a little of it's history.

Then insults, you know that is the last resort of the limited intellect don't you?

Oh behalf of about two thirds of the British people, I bloody well hope so.

Wow, its fine to see where the roots of the British people lay, in hatred and the wanting of failure of others, and in the end as a result themselves.
