Huh? She still has never been on the Sunday morning shows because she's incapable of answering direct questions on the issues of the day without being prepped for a week in advance and even then it's obvious she's only repeating bull**** that she had to memorize.

How anyone could seriously believe that Palin is bright is beyond reason.

I too would welcome her on the GOP ticket in '12, PLEASE!

Some abortion activists on both sides are nuts. She gave the perception that she is a dummy. She recited slogans and attacks and even acknowledged that she was refusing to answer questions.

I wouldn't fault someone for making that personal decision. I wouldn't tell them they should do that though.

    The extremes can be disgusting.
    Thank you, independent_thinker2002.

i think our extremists have completely lost it. You have to have a certain set of beliefs and nothing else is tolerated. And they believe everything they read that makes them feel good about being liberal or being conservative.

Amercanwoman My first impression of Palin's accent was Cameron Diaz. And I had no idea who Tina Fey was that everybody was comparing her to.

Aren't these the sorts of tactics that our liberal friends normally attibute to Republicans being uniquely guilty of?

Yeah, no comment on this, huh?

Political cowards. They'll smear a women candidate as having faked the birth of her child, they'll silently accept the invasion of a private citizen's privacy so long as he ain't killing an unborn baby, but, my goodness, when you accurately cite an assocaition between their Messiah and a former terrorist, look out...we've committed the gravest political sin of all.

    Pathetic.
Pathetic. Say, isn't it amazing how a non-American Muslim terrorist sympathizer was elected president?

So because I think an individual is stupid, that makes me a hyper partisan? Got it.

You need to get your news from more credible sources; the claim has long been debunked:

Palin Didn't Know Africa Was a Continent Source a Hoaxster
    Brian Doherty | November 13, 2008, 11:17am

Turns out the most ridiculous and generic "dumb polack joke"-style accusation about the dimness of Sarah Palin's bulb--that she thought Africa was a country, not a continent--was probably from an interesting and amusing hoax advisor to the McCain campaign--from the nonexistent "Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy"--going by the phony name (which is also the real name of another minor D.C. policy dude, unrelated to the hoax nope, there is a minor policy dude named "Michael Eisenstadt") of "Martin Eisenstadt."

The New York Times has the details, including some earlier lies he had told (and been caught up on).

The front "Harding Institute" site, with the brilliantly conceived line: "Welcome to the homepage of The Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy. A Washington-area think-tank in the truest sense of the words...."

    "Eisenstadt" on YouTube.
