I do not, however, agree with him nationalising his industires with the most pathetic excuses. Private enterprise should not be threatened by a leaders socialist ambitions.
Trying to make his term in office is undemocratic. He is trying very hard to become the next Adolf Hitler.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, has feather like a duck, ... THEN THERE IS A GOOD REASON TO THINK IT MIGHT BE A DUCK!

Term limits make long term corruption impossible.

Politicians and Islamic governments are like diapers and they must be changed often... and for the same reason.
We dont have term limits in the uk, could someone overthrow our government [please?]

The monarchy in your country is one of the leading reasons for the invention of a term limit..... and the separation of church and state.

It's also a one primary example of a monarchy that became democratic.

Chavez is just an amusing buffoon - a GREAT idea would be for someone to write a Broadway comedy about him, a la Gilbert and Sullivan.

It's a democracy, if the people voted for term limits to be reduced to five hours then that's what would be implemented. The government is an employee of the people, it acts in accordance with the will of the people, and if the people, during the course of a referendum or whatever, decide they want to abolish term limits than that is democratic. That is a democracy. Besides, even if he did get it done, which he hasn't, he could still lose.
www.thecaffeinemachine.com - looking for main-page political writers, so if anyone is interested send a PM (apologies if that violates any rules)

I suggest you open your eyes and a take a good look at what he wants to do.

Also ... remember ... Hitler started Nazi Germany much the same way Chavez is trying to start.

    Think about it.
