Trump: Monday will be day one of administration

Trump: Monday will be day one of administration

[D]ay one – which I will consider to be Monday as opposed to Friday or Saturday. Right? I mean my day one is gonna be Monday because I don’t want to be signing and get it mixed up with lots of celebration,” Trump said, according to a transcript of the interview.
Trump will be inaugurated on Friday and is expected to attend celebrations that night.​

Remember during the campaigning Trump was promising "on day one I'll... on day one I'll... on day one I'll... on day one I'll..."? So the asshole gets inaugurated on Friday, and is immediately taking time off. The hilarity of this is that GW Bush took more vacation than any modern prez and now this from Trump but the last eight years we had to hear about how Obama was golfing and vacationing too much from the likes of the trumpanzees.

Day one is too hard for me... I'm gonna push day one back. :lol:
 
Dude, pace yourself. Trump is going to give us a LOT of legitimate reasons to criticize him for. Don't waste your energy on silly things like this. Monday is a perfectly normal day to start work.

I agree with you on everything except the last sentence.

Day 1 begins tomorrow (January 20th) at swearing in. As POTUS that's just exactly what you've volunteered for.
The world and our country don't take the weekend off.

There is no: "F that, it's Saturday. I got plans. I'll check it out Monday when I get back to the office."
when you're POTUS.
