Trump eyes 10 percent spending cuts and 20% Slash in Federal workers

Yep, those evil rich people preventing you from joining them. Class warfare and jealousy are all I see from people like you. I know of no one who prevented me from joining the top income earners but obviously you don't believe you should earn that income but rather have the govt. redistribute their wealth to you

It's ironic for you to whine about class warfare while celebrating Trump for taking from the poor to give to the rich.

You are right, allowing people to keep more of what they earn constitutes taking from the poor and giving it to the rich. Been using some of that Colorado weed lately?

So then you want Medicare and Social Security to come to an end, correct? Social Security takes from the young, poor workers who don't have assets and give it to senior citizens who typically have access to wealth and multiple assets, retirement funds, and pensions.

Let's get it on record Absentglare...you're opposed to social security and Medicare?

Are they not capable of finding another job?? The left is telling us the economy is fine, so what's the problem??? If they are not bright enough to get another job in this " good" economy why would I want them working for me?? Yes they work for me. I'm called a tax payer!!

Yes, exactly, and Trump is going to have manufacturing plants relocated to the DC to accommodate tens of thousands of people who would otherwise have to sell their houses, have their spouses quit their jobs and pay to move to wherever they can find work. There's also the new improved healthcare - whatever it is - that will make the transition from one job to another absolutely seamless.

It's comforting to know that you have put as much thought into this as Trump has.

You obviously don't have 16 or 17 years in a government career.

Except I don't work for nor contract with the federal government nor do I derive pay for services provided to the federal government in any way. That's about as clear as I can make it.

Changing the laws to give preferential treatment to the rich is, in fact, giving to the rich at the expense of the rest.

Oh knock it off Mr Thicket.

Your gonna make me cry.

Do liberals care that coal miners have to relocate when the EPA takes their job away?

Do civilian government employees care about the uniformed military that are downsized from the military?

The answer to both questions is no.

Now fat cat government employees can experience what the rest of the country goes through

I feel like you think this is some "gotcha"- well its not. My goal is for human beings to have access to the meager things necessary for their survival. This will ensure that ALL employment is actually voluntary, rather than as it is now where employers leverage the necessity of income heavily against low-skilled labor.

If we do look at wealth, we have a lot congealing at the top, both in terms of age and in terms of wealth, places where it is generally less efficient.

So actually, i would be happy to abolish SS and medicare and then replace them with universal healthcare and a basic income for everyone.

However, to address your stupid strawman position, no, i would not want to scrap SS and medicare without replacing them with another form of assistance.

It's a seeming victory for conservatives... but that's only because they don't know how a macro-economy works.

I have seen how Obamanomics works, high debt, stagnant GDP growth, massive under employment, foreign policy disasters so apparently change is only supported by people like you when others are forced to do it and you operate in the status quo

Changing the laws to give preferential treatment to the rich is, in fact, giving to the rich at the expense of the rest.

Again, allowing people to keep more of what they earn is a problem for leftists like you. Changing the laws to what bother you?

Tell me exactly what it is that prevents you from becoming part of those evil rich people you want to demonize. Apparently to you it is all about higher taxes, redistributing wealth, and spreading equal outcome by taking from someone else because you cannot compete

Let me make it clear to you . 19 years old, I owed the auto parts store, 34 sold the store, in those 15 years built apt, Comercial buildings etc after hours and before. Sold the store because I built a large mini storage complex and moved my dollars into that. Much of the wildfire here in the west is fought by contract. ( bet you didn't know that) started messing with that about age 30. At 50 what do I do? mini storage (building another right now ) apartments, Comercial buildings, heavy equipment, trucks, hoes, dozers, excavators,
Development and few other things. My contracting for wildfire suppression my " fun" get away job. Started with nothing have done very well. I'll go toe to toe with you business wise... I'm willing to be my business experience dwarfs yours. Cheers.

You've apparently done well. Good for you. We have entirely different business experiences. Save for the comparison of financial rewards it would be difficult to compare them.

With some of the crap you have been pushing out

They were much better, until the crash and yes the government had a large part in this with liberal policy. Started in the 70s but I will assume you would rather go with the liberal talking points of the evil bankers, deregulation etc. ( and there was some of that)

So the GW Bush economic years were soooooo much better, if you don't count the crash. Bwhahahahahahaha.....

Just like how there was no terrorism on Bush's watch... if you don't count 9/11.

The GOP crash of 2007 didn't start in the 70's. You are living in a really bad bubble. Next thing you are going to post is that it started with Carter and the redlining laws aren't you? Then I'll have to show you that you don't even know what redlining was and how Carter didn't force any bank to do anything. Broken records of the right.

You guys repeat such nonsensical garbage.

What a bubble to live in. Awfully small in there though I'm sure.

Noticed that you have yet to post any economic data in context to support Obamanomics over Bush which isn't surprising because there are NONE. You are easily indoctrinated by the leftwing marketing because that is what you want to believe. There is a reason Obama lost the house in 2010, failed to regain it in 2012, lost the Congress in 2014, and now the entire govt. Seems the American people don't believe as you do about the success of Obama and the results support the people

No our bubble has lots of room inside. It's the left that has the problem with room. You have to be of the correct gender, or whatever you feel like today. Lgbtgftuzxyy. ( as long as your not straight) race, income, etc etc. Might want to loosen that tinfoil hat of yours and cut back on the electric shock treatments. Here you go I'm thinking you made need some of this also with the crap you are pushing out.
