Me too. I really have no strong opinions one way or another on abortion. Never had one, never would, but I don't get worked up that it's legal. However, I don't think Uncle Sam should pay a penny for them, and if the states choose to, that should be up to them. JMO.

I'm confused. I've heard a bazillion times here on DP that no federal funding to Planned Parenthood goes to abortion and/or reproductive services. If that's true, why would there be an explosion of babies?
 
Planned Parenthood CEOs get paid ANNUALLY around 12 million dollars. Planned parenthood contributes 1.2 million in PAC donations.

Does that sound like a 'non-profit' organization in need of federal government tax contributions?

The US literally pays its farmers to keep producing corn. It also pays to transport water to places to people they wouldn't otherwise get it.

Nobody said they had abortion factories. Defunding PP because it supports women who have abortions and guides them to the right places won't work either.

I'm not a Christian. I also said (which you ignored) that I have no opinions on abortion and don't care if it's legal. I'm not advocating to make it illegal. Never did, never will. Please read my posts before posting nonsense.

I don't have to pay for someone else's mistake. If I decide to see if I can fly out my 3 story window and land safely, and I break my back, I don't expect the taxpayers to cut me a check for my mistake. I need to own it.
