Donald Trump wants couriers to replace email [W:191]

He said anything thats important should be sent by courier- troops requesting air support is important. So you agree with him that they send it by courier?

LOL

He never said anything about troops requesting air support.

I know, projection required to fit narrative...

Troops wouldn't request air support via email, anyway. :lamo

Quite true. Many legal and financially important and significant documents are not transmitted electronically, be it email or fax. Many are still in physical form, typically arrive in FedEx or UPS in standard sized envelopes, executed, as necessary, and returned the same via pre-paid.

Typical leftist distortion and dishonesty of what was said and it's context, in an also typically lame attempt to slam Trump. Expect little more than this for the next 4 years minimum, perhaps the next 8 years maximum.

I just negotiated the sale of my business. Even though laws have been developed to authenticate electronic signatures, not a single page of the documents, be it in initial drafts, or in final form, were sent electronically. Every page was sent by courier (FedEx, etc.) due to the nature of the transaction.

Original forms are like original manuscripts, indisputable for content.

It's really rather revealing to see naiveté searching for an argument as a means to promote steadfast bias and narrative.

Trump: "YOU CAN'T HACK COURIERS!!"

No, you can just punch them in the face and take their package.

I'm fairly certain these couriers would work in teams, and be highly trained operatives. The missives would likely be secreted on their person on a thumb drive, or other compact form of electronic storage. Do libs ever think anything through, or do they just automatically attack their opponents without even considering what they have to say?

I think Trump is just as stupid as you are. After all, you say "Trump wants couriers to replace emails" in your thread title.

As per the forum rules, I copied the title on the article I cited. But if you want to call me stupid, well I guess you can handle a few points.

Gee, I wonder why the United States Government still uses Diplomatic Pouches? I mean, dang, wouldn't it be easier to just send emails?

People are embarrassing themselves here....

Send the messages by owl.
After all, a courier can be robbed and/or be complicit with hackers.

Owls are safe. They're magic, don't you know.

Liberals are incapable of thinking outside the box. That's why the Liberal agenda is such a huge failure.

Our government wasn't hacked, private servers were. The current methods of secure communication are still secure if you do not bypass them to avoid the annoying classification prompt. Or use commercial software, on a secure computer. NSA has compromising code in most commercial software, Id' link info but youd be tagged and monitored for looking at it. Saying that the whole system needs to be taken back to couriers, which is super inefficient is like what Hillary did with her maid unless You goin to have three star generals riding bikes around dropping off messages.

The sheer size and scope of the government plus the fact it would make us less secure, makes this a dumb idea. And saying we have to roll back the system because someone was hacked outside of the system where they were vulnerable is idiocy. Aside from his cellphone, I don't think Trump uses a computer himself because he finds them to complicated.

Which despite what other geriatric computer illiterate people think, that's not a good thing for a President in the digital age.

So all government correspondence be done by courier? I'm sure our military would appreciate that as they send a runner while under fire in Afghanistan.

So when logic fails resort to attack the messenger fallacy?

He never said that. But that's not the point of this thread. It's all about "I hate Trump."

No one is saying roll back the entire system, but it makes sense to keep some information out of cyberspace. What President Trump is talking about is already taking place, anyway. That's the purpose of the, "eyes only", marking on some classified documents. It basically means that the material isn't to be transmitted electronically.

Because the government needed to be slower and more inefficient. At this point I am almost certain Trump has never used a computer in his life and knows literally nothing about them.

Why do n't you just skip all the rationalizing and just say "I hate Trump and I can't find an intelligent reason for that hate, so i'm going twist the truth around to justify my hate." It would avoid all these silly threads and possibly lead you to a much healthier mental state as you accept your hate learn to move past it. Please, for your own sake....

To be precise, you didn't copy the complete title of the article.

But you are right. I shouldn't have implied that you are stupid. I should have directed my remark to the stupid title of the stupid article you quoted.

lol...no kidding eh...

this is going to be an interesting 4 years with all of the Trumpsters alert and ready to defend the indefensible

I don't have a pony in the race but already it is interesting

The government already uses couriers. Are you saying it should stop the practice? Has Obama been ****ing up all this time?

:lamo

you might want to reword that...ya know, so it backs you instead of going against you

How does it go against me? I bet you can't answer the question. :lamo

So far couriers have been working perfectly between New York and Moscow. (that's not hating on him, it's poking fun at him)
Seriously, lots of confidential docs and wet signatures are sent via courier every day. But as POTUS, he should not fear sending things via secure networks. If he really believes that he can't, well that is a problem and one of his security advisers should, well, advise him. Of course maybe Mike, I'm not paranoid, Flynn is advising him.

Omg, you do know that we already do that right, they are called Scifs and not even radio waves get in. Laws prohibit that type of info from being on anything but paper. It's transported in a Scif vehicle under guard. The type of info that can be transmitted is nowhere near that level. And the fact that the Don seems unaware of this tells me he shouldn't be skipping security briefings.

What'd I just say? :lamo

This current nut-up is making the Left look even worse than it already does.
