History is a repeat of the past if one does not learn from it. The Whigs probably thought they only had one direction left as well. Well, they completely collapsed and are now as extinct as the Dodos.
We are confident as we hold all the reins of the entire Federal government, 30+ governorships out of 50, 68 out of 99 state legislatures, 23 with the trifecta, all three in Republican hands. We, the People, have spoken fairly clearly and you folks have turned nothing but a deaf ear to the warnings beforehand and the utter collapse of party and message after.
But you keep plugging away with all those missteps, keep failing to learn from your misguided mistakes. We do not mind holding all the power. Sure would be nice to have an honest party out there, tho, helping me keep an eye on my own party. You folks are not even in a position to help with that now, being so ironically comical protesting and fashioning silly reason after silly reason as to why you lost.
By the way, nudge nudge, in case nobody out there had the integrity to tell your side before the election: The game played is the electoral college game, not the popular vote. Ha ha Don't know who might have misled you on that, but that you went for it and are still going for it is tremendously hilarious. I do, I truly chuckle each time you folks bring it up. Like it what, changes anything?

Oh, and thanks for allowing me another chance to bring up just how deep our bench is with regards to all political power in the US of A.
