Reports in Germany that the terrorist driver managed to get away. Wow.

Okay now I read that he was caught, apparently there were two terrorists involved one ran away and was caught in a local zoo and the other shot dead.

We shall see. The driver is dead, but his accomplice seems to have been arrested.

Interesting is the reaction on the tv Chanel's. Many are doing live programs following events. On three I have heard the reporters warn the public that right radicals have been wishing for this and will try to use it. The population should be calm and not fall for the radicals.

Despite their bluster, Germany's far right radicals have been pretty passive. I just hope that German TV is not defining anybody opposed to Merkel's poorly thought out immigration program as a "right wing radical".

Here in Sweden those who oppose our wide open door for 'refugees' are called xenophobes, Islamophobes, racists and Nazis. Nothing as mild and gentle as 'Right wing radicals'. In relation to our size as a country we have a higher number of 'refugees' from Iraq and Nigeria and everywhere in between than Germany.

This appears to have been another awful terrorist attack. My thoughts and sympathies go out to the victims and their families. Hopefully, the apprehended suspect will be held fully responsible under Germany's laws and any other accessories, if they exist, will be apprehended and also brought to justice.

These ones are not refugees but economic migrants. There is no war or oppression in Nigeria or much of West Africa. As for many others they should seen asylum in the first country they come to - not trek across Europe and many borders to get there.

When are the next elections in Sweden? Any chance for "Donald Trump" winning? Not only are some of the electoral themes similar, but I believe that 'Trump' is a Swedish name ;).

After all, just because he was shouting Allah Akbar! and Death to the Infidels's does not automatically mean it was Islamic terrorism

You are of course correct. It is all the fault of the religion of peace. There will be NO peace with radical muslims, ever. Very few in the West have the balls or determination to do what is truly needed.

The next Swedish elections are in Sept 1918. The one party against mass migration is the Swedish Democrats who won 12.9 % of the votes last time, led by Jimmie Åkesson. It is possible that they could be the largest party next time with up to 30% - but the other parties would combine against them to stop them forming a government. We have PR here.

I've never heard of anyone in Sweden called Trump.

Not 'they' but 'he'. The other person in the truck was the real Polish driver that the Afghan - possibly actually Pakistani - terrorist had murdered earlier. He had entered Germany as a 'refugee' last February.
