not if he transfers his businesses to his son he has no business stake in it.
that is why he is transferring his businesses into his sons name.

There's a disconnect when CNN and Democrats are saying "x,y,z" AND the relevant agecy is saying "NO COMMENT". It's more likely that Democrats and CNN are lying.
 
Trump's ownership of the hotel, blocks from the White House, is already raising concerns that foreign governments and American business leaders will seek to curry favor with the new president by booking rooms and holding events there.

I wonder what kinds of favors he'll give if they eat in the restaurants.. Nuc's? maybe a fighter jet or 2.. Hell,, why have them stay at the hotel,, let them use the white house... It'll be empty on the weekends..

PSSSST hey buddy,, you stay a couple nights in my hotel ( 500$) and I will give you a billion dollar contract..

It's possible, but I'm not sure why any of us would like to see Trump win that lawsuit. It's an obvious and glaring conflict of interest and if nothing else for the Trump supporters, there isn't any benefit in spending a bunch of wasted time worrying about distractions like that and that aren't actually defensible in principle.

He hasn't that I'm aware of indicated he is gifting that or any other asset to his kids. He might do it, but he was going to announce those arrangements tomorrow, then last I heard put the news conference off till January.

Carter did divest himself of the peanut farm. Not sure about FDR.

If one of his family members is taking over the hotel, how will that change? Foreign governments could still seek favor knowing that his family still is running it. His presidency will be marked in scandal over every decision he makes due to his possible conflicts of interest.

You mean like if someone running for an elected office had a family member who had a huge charitable foundation and then accepted donations from foreign powers to that foundation might be construed as a conflict of interest??? Is that the kind of scenario we're talking about here????

Who was a retired Army general with few or any business interests

Trump probably should sell thd property

I am chill with someone buying Trump out for the good of the nation, making sure to pay enough of a premium to cover Trumps massive tax bill for that.

You mean the foundation that they don't receive any money from, that one? Yeah completely different than a HOTEL that is a FOR PROFIT, but you know cons have never been good at facts.
