I am not certain why Trump voters lacked discernment. Virtually anything Trump accused Clinton of, he was leagues beyond her in his guilt of the same vice. It was crooked Hilary and CROOKED DONALD.

Tillerson, Bolton, and Petraeus are more like quick sand to me.

My choice from the beginning has been Sen. Corker .

I don't think the underling position would require congressional scrutiny. Bolton is a hot head and might not make it through hearings. Even in THAT position, Bolton + Flynn = me giving 50/50 odds of war with Iran in the next 2-3 years.

No, although a chunk did. The others didn't want the snake oil the other corrupt idiot in the race was selling slightly more than they didn't want the snake oil this corrupt idiot was selling. Both candidates were so bad they could only have failed to lose to each other.

I think most people would describe the swamp as politicians and business as usual. Trump is a businessman. How did you expect him to NOT look to corporate solutions and considering corporations provide industry and jobs, why would you WANT that?

If these are the picks, not a fan of them but they are consistent with what Trump ran on. He wants to exploit the resources(Tillerson) and look after American interests with strength(Bolton).

It's easy to see why Putin was pulling for Trump. Lifting of sanctions, drilling in the Arctic with Exxon, get serious with isis, weakening of NATO by U.S. going more on their own, shared values of exploiting resources, those that are weaker, self interest, seeking of power.
