Hacking the dnc and leaking it to Williams is tampering with the election. I'd have a beef with this if they hacked the dnc as well. Foreign entities meddling in our elections shouldn't be allowed much less embraced like I'm seeing in here.

Two things here....1. So, you're mad that the DNC corruption, the Media collusion, and the Podesta e mails were/are now known to the country.....And 2. Do you have any tangible proof at all that the information put out did anything to alter the outcome of the election? Because if you do, then you are doing better than the CIA, or the courts....

Ok, after a debate in my family just now, it seems as though you may be technically right...So, I'll give you that I did not technically use the word 'irony' exactly as Webster defines it....However, it is awfully rich to read the quote from you that I highlighted in that response, and see you complaining about exactly what you and other libs have done in here for at least the past month....
 
I'm just curious. Does everyone here KNOW how WHOEVER IT WAS 'hacked' into the DNC? I mean...we KNOW that much. We know HOW they did it. We dont know who exactly. We dont know why. For example we dont know why Guccifer 2.0 would be in bed with the Russians. We dont know why Wikileaks would be in bed with the Russians. We dont know why the Russians...who donated 135 MILLION to the Clinton Foundation and had access to HRC and through their contacts with her were gifted a massive contract to mine uranium in North America...wouldnt L:OVE the idea of working with her more (since it was so mutually profitable).

But we know how.

We know they sent an email to John Podesta and said John...Hi...your google email has been hacked. Please click on this link and update your password.

And the dumbass did it.

Your GRANDMOTHER wouldnt fall for it...but John Podesta did. And once they were in...it turns out that the DNC was in the habit of NOT changing emails after disgruntled employees left AND the DNC had a habit of emailing passwords in open forum group emails.

I'm amazed they didnt fall for the "I'm a rich African king and want to make you rich..." gag.

Lord help this poor lady and all the rest of those that can not comprehend the distinction between American politics played out by American political actors and the Russians interfering with the American political process.

You do realize there is a major difference between an American killing a politician and a member of Russian intelligence killing an American politician. While one may be a crime; the other is an act of war.
 
If the Russians got benefit from hacking, it's because the Democrats created a Target-Rich Environment.

Anyone remember the Highway of Death from Desert Storm? This was the Democrat version of that.

The arrogant Democrats were eagerly moving out with their pockets stuffed with treasure, including pet journalists in their hip pockets, and other assorted goodies - when all of a sudden they get heavily strafed by cyber-attack.

Now the Democrats are standing around dazed in the middle of their charred wreckage, and are wailing at the sky and shaking their fists, vowing revenge.

This wouldn't have happened to you in the first place, if you hadn't created that Target-Rich Environment.

Thank you for your sweet summary of what the difference is. However, our government has many, many laws in place to stop all from interfering with the election process. With that being said, what I find surprising is that you can justify one but not justify the other. I don't think there is true evidence that Russia did any of this. Sorry, but I don't trust a government or a DOJ who has a private meeting with the husband of the women who is being investigated for crimes in the White House.

However, and this is the biggest however, you and all the others who want to make this statement have to back it up with did it influence the Presidential Election? Is there sufficient evidence to hold a trial to prove that Russia was involved? Is leaked truthful information even a crime under these laws? And so much more that right now this is nothing more than a back handed attempt to defraud the American People of their votes and the results of those votes.

And perhaps the bigger plea is "Lord, help all the others who are so desperate to deny the fact that the American People have spoken that they'll grasp at nearly any straw to remain in the dark about the truth."

Amen.
