I am thrilled to nominate Dr. Ben Carson as our next Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development" President-elect Donald Trump said in a statement.

Is this guy up to running a bureaucracy? Trump says yes but after the campaign operation he put together I dont know, it was often looking like Carson was being handled by his people.

I trust Trump, but this one I need to see to believe.
 
There might be a nice little backstory here about Trump releasing such big news at the 6 am Eastern hour....maybe a little trying to catch the "journalists" still rolling out of bed, Trump making a point that his day is well started, because he is a worker.

I get that this is important to Trump and that Ben must get Trumps vision and be passionate about it....But part of this gig is managing a whole lot of people and politics and money, Ben Carson can do this? Will he have training wheels of some sort?

I have no idea if Dr. Carson is qualified to run a federal agency, but I do understand management. The top of the agency has to know how to manage people, those people have to know how to manage their functions and from a quick search, there appears to be a lot of people involved:

Nothing to do with sour grapes. I might not like Trump but I had hoped at least that he could choose competent people to help him run government. Ben Carson aint competent, not even by a long shot. And some of the others he has picked... come on.. a 79 year old billionaire Wall Street insider for Commerce... and then there is Michael Flynn... a former general fired for leaking Top Secret information and floating conspiracy theories... this guy is suppose to help Trump with national security? Please...With this idiot, and the Defence moron he wants to appoint, the US will be in a war with either China, Iran or Russia within 6 months of Trump taking power... hell maybe all 3!

Credit to Ben in that his life story and achievements, including becoming one of the most gifted and famous neurosurgeons in America are truly inspiring. What credentials/experience in the field does he have to make him the best person for this job though...I guess that's my initial thoughts.

Of course, there is positively zero evidence that Hillary Clinton leaked classified data to anyone, but I think we ALL know better than to expect an honest argument out of you when Hillary Clinton is concerned.

Something seems off with Carson. During interviews he acts like he's on quaaludes.
