He's already been convicted and sentenced.

Wait, I thought Trump made it clear that the mishandling of classified information was the direst of all sins that anyone could ever commit, why would he now let such a criminal into his administration?

He probably realized slightly more than half the voters in the last election didn't give a crap about such things, so he thought he'd give Petraeus a pass.
 
I am not splitting hairs. They had more than sufficient time to lay charges.

They have 7 years, or maybe it's 10 years, but either way.
