Taking his daughter to formally meet foreign dignitaries is an implicit promotion of Ivanka. It makes companies more likely to do business with her as she is positioned with the ear of the president. JFK won the election in 1960 and appointed his brother to attorney general. In 1967 congress overwhelmingly passed the anti-nepotism law... in large part because of 1960.

I know that to Trump supporters the constitution is something that can just be torn up at your earliest convenience, but article 20 protects against ex post facto laws. You can't commit a crime against a law that hadn't yet been passed. Also, JFK was assassinated in 1963. So even if you went back in time and ripped up the constitution, he wouldn't have been alive to defend himself. Oh.. but yeah.. the right to defend yourself is a constitutionally protected thing.. so sure, you can think that a dead JFK broke the law, even if the living man didn't. Go President Camacho! er Trump!
