Just curious exactly how many normal protestors we're supposed to paint with your broad brush for each violent protester? I mean if 30 people break things in Portland Oregon, do we then get to claim that the 100,000 people who protested in NYC are violent thugs too?

What's the right ratio?

Well, just what the hell are you protesting? That you lost? The very fact that you, (and not you personally, unless you joined in the protests) are out in the street denouncing the election, capitalism, this country, and everything that comes with the Trump victory is 1. classless, and 2. Immature to the point of deserving the disgust that is coming their way.

And don't talk to me about ratio's when you have those like minded with your ideology out there attacking, assaulting people simply for the candidate they voted for....How can you defend that at all?

'This was a whitelash': Van Jones' take on the election results - CNNPolitics.com

Late to the party, term has been picked up (well it's whitelash in this case, but same thing really).

That was the point.

Re: 'Professional protesters' riot over Trump's election, attacking bystanders and va

Why would that be? Van Jones called the vote a "whitelash"....

Watch from 1:20 on....

This obviously went over many a persons head. That was my point,.

Wait, the media said Republicans would violently protest if they lost, even though they never do.

These animals are EXACTLY why Trump won.

Hey, easy with that "animals" bit. Animals attack when hungry or threatened.

Those two Negros are not animals. They are black human un-aborted garbage nobody needs.

You have "Libertarian" before the "Left" in your descriptor, I wasn't aware that Libertarians are against guns, or am I misreading what you are saying here?

I'm not against guns, I own 3 of them.

I'm against fear and decisions people make when they're afraid.

So, expand on that....Tell us, who on the right is freaking out right now? Oh yeah that would be the progressive left that can't accept the results of an open, free election....The right to own a gun is constitutionally protected, as you yourself have exercised, to speak about it as though the only people out there buying guns are doing so out of fear is one big 'so what?' moment...Everyone has the right, and actual right, and not some made up one based on emotion, but a real one spelled out in our constitution. So, your mockery of people buying guns for self protection is not only guaranteed, but damned smart in my opinion.

Yet you mock those who exercise their first amendment rights of assembly and speech in this very post.

Not at all....I think their protests are stupid, and childish, but I have said nothing about their right to do so....However, their rights stop when they start destroying property, and assaulting people.

I didn't say you wanted to take away their rights. I said you're out here mocking them....and you did it again.

Fine. You take offense when I mention that some people are buying guns out of fear of what "the left" will do during a Trump presidency (which I didn't even bring up, the poster above me did) and I take offense when you characterize the protests as stupid and childish.

I'm not defending those doing harm and destroying property. I'm merely pointing out that they are the very small minority of protesters. Peaceful protesters outnumber them thousands to 1.
