Sen. Elizabeth Warren throws down gauntlet to President-elect Trump

Trump changed...Warren still says she's an Indian.

Aren't you missing your Moveon.org march time?

When will you be wise enough to understand that every coin has two sides?

Your closed mind will be your downfall, if it has not already.

An open mind and common sense is the mark of wisdom and intelligence.

I have audited some of the big banks and I agree. They are also badly managed from the top down. Nobody takes responsibility for anything, and nobody knows anything.

Especially when you have taken over an insurance company, a mortgage lender, a credit card company, a smaller investment bank, a smaller retail bank....You compete against other parts of the company as much as your actual competitors.

When did Warren first bring up the Indian thing?

So her answer to healing the nation is to start verbally stabbing anyone she disagrees with. That's the kind of leadership that needs to go away...

Greetings, faithful_servant. :2wave:

:agree: The elections were legally done, and televised for all to follow. With the amount of outrage I'm seeing that Hillary didn't win, I'm beginning to wonder what plans for this country were ruined by Trump's win, because something sure doesn't make sense here. Was this a big setback for those who had other plans for this country? Who organized all the demonstrations going on around the country, all on the same day - one day after we voted? And they're not being done by the Trump followers either, like we were being warned about for weeks! Strange that it's okay now, when the other side is doing what they belittled the Trump followers for, and I have never been a Trump supporter!

America is NOT a banana republic, dammit, where you protest in the streets about the results of a legally conducted, and closely monitored, election! :argue:

Is that like a fauxservative? LOL! Goldman was up like 12% today. My retirement and investment accounts are doing quite well the last few days. Thanks Donny. Time to take some off the table before reality sets in.
. Yeah, I noticed how the economic-fear mongers were changing their tunes to reflect Trump's win.

Slap yourself on the back for me.

Twitter is not a news source.

What a garbage post that is.

It's a local, eye witness account. With pictures..

Why don't go entertain yourself with crayons

Thanks, WCH. We can further define the chron. Now today, we saw Paul Ryan setting next to the president-elect. Somethings funky in the 'hood, and Ryan may just be the DNC mole Trump should be leery of.

1) Ryan's daddy, earthmoving business.

2) Toccoa, Georgia: R.G. LeTourneau, inventor of earthmovers.

3) Toccoa, a Cherokee name meaning "beautiful" or "where the Catawbas lived."

4) Trump's row with the Indiana judge is the clue, because just prior to 9-11, we observed Middle Easterners at Indiana University with Caterpillar backpacks, t-shirts, etc. Obama-Clinton ISIS agent just may be Ryan, so for anyone laughing, note that we are not.

I'll admit, something about Warren just puts me off. I can't quite pin it down. Just something about her that makes the hairs on the back of my neck rise up whenever I even just hear her name.

She is a mirror image of Clinton?

WCH, best to start denouncing (certain [italics]) imaginary fathers like it's going out of style. China says Trump was bluffing? No, we're not going to be your bitch, either, Pingying. Some of us are more clued up than young Chinese, who never heard of the B.C. Chinese christ, Jizu. The journal Islamochristiana was founded in 1975 and was on the shelved of Indiana University until disappearing just prior to 9-11. Snap out of it, if you can.

Elizabeth Warren is positioning herself as Hillary Clinton's successor - her shriller, angrier sister - in taking on Donald Trump:

Hopefully she has no plans to create a Warren Foundation - so far, anyway.

The woman says "battling bigotry is the first job for Democrats after the election". That would be hilarious if is wasn't pathetically sad. Is there a more bigoted group around than Democrats? After all, didn't the leader of the Democrat party just finish calling Trump supporters a basket of deplorables? Can't get much more bigoted than that.

Clean up your own party first missy, then you might have a credible leg to stand on.

I don't know enough about her to know that.

From what I get she is a Bernie wanna be but has the character of Clinton.
Something of a cross between.

Ludin, try this: Warren rides a Gumby horse out West to attend, post-genocide of the Indigene, a pow-wow, while claiming 1% Cherokee DNA. The Arab son, Obama, did the same smuggling act. It's the snippet of the black girl punching the Chappaqua Blue Racer in the mouth when the Racer tells her she is running for president.

So.... The Democrats' plan is to keep telling white union members that they look down on them?

Good luck with that.

Warren is nothing but an old phony windbag.

She's a hypocrite and quite the idiot. Labor Unions had little to no impact on Tuesdays elections and I bet it had something to do with just how effed up the economy is and has been for the last 8 years.

She can caterwaul all she likes, fortunately for the rest of us she hasn't the power or influence to do anything about jt.

Our willingness to live in peace with people who are different than us, which most importantly has to do with existing with people who have different ideas than us.

We used to be much better at this.
Yes, in the old days we just didn't give those who may not think like us a voice. Black people treated as second class humans, women prohibited from voting, Catholics visited by the KKK...

Yes, we had no problem living in peace then because 100 years ago the majority silenced the minority through physical and legal means. Your assertion things were better on this front 100 years ago is rather insulting to all those who did not even have a voice.

Allow me to be clear. I don't think you meant anything negative by your statement, but was rather lamenting a general lack of tolerance. I agree more people need to chill the heck out. But one needs to be very careful when discussing this issue and understand it is far more complex than "I want to say what I want without someone being offended...like in the old days". Because the old days really weren't that great for anyone who was not a white Protestant male.

That is a myth that was sold to you for profit.

Because all she does is spread hate for certain people. That's it. She does literally nothing else. The problem with your entire ideologies approach to discussion is that it comes off as bitter, demanding, and whiny.

We should both be able to agree that the two major parties are very guilty of exactly that. Trump didn't exactly scale back on the hate and neither did Hillary. Warren has recently been on a tirade about race that I view as a misstep in terms of reaching the voters that turned to Trump. Her rhetoric on wall street and the corrupt system is what she should focus on.
