I wonder how many of these people just a few weeks ago were slamming Trump for not promising to accept the election results?
Trump victory spurs protests nationwide

Trump victory spurs protests nationwide - CBS News

Quote from article:
"Protesters burned Trump in effigy, smashed windows of the Oakland Tribune newsroom and set tires and trash on fire."

Liberals rioting and looting? I would have never expected that. :lamo

I hope the Trump Presidency inspires more people to grow some balls and stand up to the state for once in our country 'tis of thee.

Man, what a bunch of idiots.

Trump won. Hillary lost. There's nothing you can do about that now. Just accept it and move on already.

Trump made a very good a victory speech. He was humble and inclusive of everyone. People need to give him a chance.

Here's what I say to them, even though I despise Trump and am scared as hell of what's going to happen:

TOUGH SH!T!!!

How dare you sit on your asses and don't get out to vote when Donald 'f'ing Trump was a possibility.

I don't want to hear anything from the African American Community, who turned in lesser numbers for this election than they did for Obama. I don't want to hear Latinos whining about what happens to the illegals because they didn't turn out in big enough numbers either.

Women? Same damn thing.

You people stayed at home and now you reap what you've sow.

Thankfully I live in California and am a professional white male. It's not about anyone else's skin anymore but my own and that of my family's. If this people are so upset, then they should be protesting outside the doors of those who couldn't be bothered to mail in a g'damn ballot.

1. We don't have any choice but to give him a chance
2. He deserves the same chance Obama got from the GOP

If the Dems have any backbone, which is a questionable proposition, they'll behave exactly how the GOP has for the last 8 years. Block/filibuster everything.

Not world wide? How disappointing.

Oh really? Wouldn't that make them massive hypocrites?

IMO no matter who won this was likely to happen It may have been celebratory instead. But we have a section in society that like to raise hell and any excuse is a good one.

Is it too hard to see how the media would spin all the broken glass of these acts as symbolic to the ceiling that she broke had she won

Trump can't go 5 minutes without lying. He's a con artist through and through.

From the article:

Trump came onstage at the Hilton looking subdued — and perhaps terrified?

I agree with this. Well, maybe not "terrified". But most certainly in shock himself. I honestly don't think he expected to win in the end. I think ALOT of people didn't expect him to win.

As for the protests. I was expecting that. Albeit coming from the Trump side as I fully expected him to lose also. But I did at one point entertain the idea of a Hillary loss and expected riots then also. So when all is said and done, the riots do not surprise me.

Yes it would. But then that is nothing new in the political world. Both sides have always been hypocritical in this regard. It's always been "do as I say, not as I do".

Hypocrisy?

If you shoot at someone, and then see they're about to fire back, you have no right to tell them to hold their fire.

This is the way the game is played now. Democrats need to "Make Trump a one term President." That should be their goal. Block everything he proposes, even if they agree with it--even if it would be good for the nation.

The GOP spent 8 years obstructing the function of the government and weaseled their way into a Supreme Court majority, and now they're going to ask the Democrats to play nice?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh he was those too. I saw the shock on his face as he was making his way to the podium. It was just there for a second but then I think he put on his "game" face.

They absolutely should oppose anything they dont agree with. Thats their job. Honest debate is fine.

I think democrats are going to be pleasantly surprised by some of the stuff trump pushes for

Maybe he was still feeling the effects of hearing that horrible, screeching voice over the phone.
