Thats the point we are suppose to be 50 seperate soverign nations. California can be as liberal as its residents choose.while texas can be as conservative as it wants. The senate is suppose to represent state interests at the federal level which only exists for limited purposes. National defense, interstate commerence, international treaties, and protecting the bill of rights.

Ok, so you think the state of Alabama, dependant on Federal funds for almost all their servies is going to be ok by itself? Get ready for refugees from Alabama and Mississippi!

What you forgot to say is that most of them would be obama/hillary voters who are addicted to federal welfare programs and have forgotten how to fend for themselves

On the contrary. Most of them are redneck racists that voted for Trump, mostly because they hated Hillary. They were promised change, those poor crackers, and boy howdy - did they ever get it.
