Sources: 99 percent chance foreign intel agencies breached Clinton server

Oh oh oh, can I pull a number out of my ass just like the right did with the 99%?

I'm certain you can, but time will tell about the rest of it. As long as she and Bill are nowhere near the levers of power, I truly don't care what happens to 'em. They can ride off into the sunset on a pile of ill-gotten gains. They both smell like dead fish to me.

Well, I guess you're going to be real pissed because she will be Madam President of the U.S. soon. Sorry about it.

Uh, phishing is a form of hacking. "Hacking" is a pretty broad term. It is not just what you see in movies with someone actively sitting at a computer typing code that eventually comes up with a huge "ACCESS GRANTED".

Phishing attacks ARE hacking attempts. That's exactly how the DNC server got hacked, with what is known as a spear phishing attack.;)

Yeah I know what phishing is.

The point is, receiving a phishing email isn't indicative of server security. You can have the most secure server in the world and receive a phishing email (most should be detected by spam filters). Even with TLS/SSL security phishing emails are common.

In addition you can have the most secure server in the world be breached by a phishing attack. That's because it's not a technical hack it's a social one, working by tricking the user, not the hardware/software. Therefore, using phishing attempts as evidence of server security (or lack of it) or for actual breaches is to misunderstand what's actually happening (in which case Fox shoudl not be reporting on it) or disingenuous.

So you can and do pull numbers out of your ass. Impressive.

Nope, she is still ahead:

RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - General Election: Trump vs. Clinton

I haven't pulled any numbers out, but you guys have and it will bite you in the end.

Sure you have. You've predicted a Hillary win. You don't know that. That's just a result you prefer. I haven't predicted who will win because I don't know. Neither have I staked a percentage on whether or not Hillary or anybody else will be indicted. You should attempt to understand that she will remain under investigation for a long time yet - probably well into 2017. I'm making fun of the left because exactly what the political left has done for decades and decades is being done to them right now, and they're howling like banshees. Karma is a bitch I hear, and this time around it may have some teeth.

It's called high confidence. She will win and then the right will be gnashing their teeth and foaming at the mouth over it. She's lasted decades with the right and made them look like monkeys that just fling **** around.

I'll wait till' they are 100% certain. Or rather, until I see the evidence that foreign intel breached Hillary's server.

And, when they are 100% certain, you'll be demanding 110% certainty.

That would be high confidence, just like the OP. Regardless of who wins on Tuesday, Hillary's legal problems will likely remain.

I don't get it.

That Podesta fell for a phishing email?

Affirmative.
How Podesta got hacked: 'Password' email revealed in WikiLeaks dump | Fox News
The IT team told Podesta the message was legit and he should change his password. But it appears the email actually was a phishing ploy – and likely gave the world access to the contents of his account.
In the new batch of emails leaked Friday, Podesta’s assistant Sara Latham forwarded the "Google" email to Charles Delavan, a Clinton campaign IT official, to see if it was real.
Delavan told her that it was a “legitimate email.”
“John needs to change his password immediately, and ensure that two-factor authentication is turned on his account … It is absolutely imperative that this is done ASAP,” he wrote, sharing a Google link where he could change his password.

He also lost his phone:

Then he lost his phone which resulted in his phone, email and twitter account being hacked this last month (12 October). Right after that the DNC and Clinton.com servers were hacked. There might be more leaks on the way from another hack.

Only for a short while. The right will yip and yap, but that barking will get less and less as time goes on.

It's called wishful thinking. If she loses can I use your post as a quote?

Sure, I have several quotes from righties on this board that I will use when she wins ;)

You have admitted that the Op is as legitimate as your claimed legitimacy. I doubt Trump will win, and I am a reluctant Trump voter. It does seem to be getting closer by the day, though. We'll see Wednesday morning. Hillary's legal problems will remain either way, unless partisan justice blocks them. Unlike the past, the public has the option to view such legal missteps these days, and it's all by the hands of those who committed them. If memory serves me right, and it does, such things don't turn out well for those who abuse justice in the end.

Bull****. Spear phishing is an entirely different animal. Podesta was targeted specifically. That's .nothing like the mass phishing emails you and I receive. These hackers specifically targeted these high level people because they suspected their systems weren't highly protected. And they were right. ;)

Imagine the optics of Hillary winning and shutting down these investigations post haste. Lol....yea that will just fade away

You see I think this election is a win win scenario. First, nothing grows the Conservative base faster than the consequences of Democrat policies in action.

Thats how the GOP won back the Senate and the House and wound up with 32 Governorships.
From ObamaCare to the economy to the basket case that is now the ME, the fact is the Left really has no idea what its doing.

Also a Hillary Presidency with all that it entails will destroy what's left of a already damaged Democrat brand.
A brand thats already associated with unchecked corruption, elitism, a complicit media and a party leader that just got away with something that would put the average American in prison for decades

I honestly don't think this will calm down for at least a year, if even then.

It's not an entirely different animal at all. Technically, they're identical. The content of the phishing email might be different to try to trick the person more effectively but that's neither here nor there when it comes to the security of the system.

What do you mean 'highly protected'?
