During the first six months of 2016, migrants committed 142,500 crimes, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office.

This is equivalent to 780 crimes committed by migrants every day, an increase of nearly 40 per cent over 2015. The data includes only those crimes in which a suspect has been caught.

Migrants committed 208,344 crimes in 2015, according to a confidential police report leaked to Bild.

This figure represents an 80 per cent increase since 2014 and is equivalent to 570 crimes committed by migrants every day, or 23 crimes each hour, in 2015 alone.

The report added: "The growing sense of lawlessness is substantiated by an October 24 YouGov poll which found that 68 per cent of Germans believe that security in the country has deteriorated during the past several years.

This is, as usual, mind-blowingly incorrect. Tabloids like the Daily Express are NOT a news agency. They are a tabloid with click-bait articles that make idiotic articles on the same level of "Hillary birthed an alien baby".

Stop posting every idiotic blog article you find without fact-checking it just because it fits your bigoted world view. As much as you'd love it to be, no, Germany is not burning and it's still dramatically safer than the US in every single metric.

I'm not the one who made the ridiculous claim that "Germany descends into lawlessness", so I have nothing to defend. The OP posts these idiotic tabloids then bails on his own thread. He doesn't care to back up or research any of the claims because it aligns with his world view so he moves on. Why don't you prove to me how lawless and violent Germany has become?

I believe the article. I researched the issue and there is quite a body of evidence from various well respected publications speaking to the big increases in crime, both petty and violent attributed to the migrants Merkel welcomed into the country.

You claim the article in the OP is mind-blowingly incorrect.

The Bundeskriminalamt said earlier this year that the increase in crime is primarily being driven by migrants from Northern Africa, Georgia, and Serbia. They described crime rates involving migrants from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan as "disproportionately low." So yeah, seems that refugees aren't the problem.

I've read information that parallels the issue described in the OP. Why would I post more of the same if the poster you're trying to defend has already stated it's mind-blowingly incorrect?

If the poster has something different to support their claim, they should post it. Perhaps what I've read is not as accurate as what they are using to make the claim.
