The Republican Party's two-year run in the majority of the U.S. Senate is at serious risk and may well end on Nov.8,senior congressional aides said on Wednesday, blaming Donald Trump as a drag on down-ballot Republican candidates.

With 13 days to go before elections, several Senate aides from both parties privately warned of trouble for Republicans.

Trump may cause the GOP to lose seats that it would have held with a different candidate. We'll have to wait and see how this turns out.
And a few days later... EVERYTHING has been turned on it's ear.

Maybe you should re-read my post, especially the first six words

I don't mean to quibble, we are on the same side here, but, "the first six words" are, "Just look at the 2018 map...". If you have a map that shows "only 1 republican seat in danger Nevada (sic)" then it is wrong. This is a Democrat seat held by Harry Reid who is retiring. Just trying to correct the record. What am I missing?

I don't ever feel sorry for the republicrats. If you continually promise one thing and then vote differently in Congress, then you deserve to be sent home.

It just didn't click that Nevada will have two rather unique Senate races in consecutive years. Now I will go crawl back in my hole. __*0*__

It's been known since the beginning that the Senate turnover map favored the dems this cycle. I suspect that Trump will work harder to cut a deal with Democrats or do a plan B.

Given the choice between 2 flawed candidates, one known for corruption and self-enrichment form the public trough, and one not, I think the choice is pretty obvious.

I know you are no fan of Trump. Fine. Electing a corrupt candidate to even high, more powerful office, isn't how to reduce and / or eliminate corruption from government, you only further allow it to entrench itself, risking being unable to remove it on a permanent basis.

Greetings, Erik. :2wave:

:agree: As nearly as I can determine from what she has either hinted at, or outright stated in comments she has made, below are listed three that seem to be a high priority to her:

1. She would like to see America in the NWO (One world Government) run by the world's elite. Since I don't believe we would be permitted to keep our Constitution and Bill of Rights that has protected the people of this Country for several hundred years, that would not be something many people would agree with, IMO, so I can't begin to imagine how that might ever happen. Time will tell.

2. She would keep Obamacare, but make revisions to it, since ever-increasing premiums are being challenged by the voters who were told that costs would decrease - not increase every year. Time will tell.

3. She favors open borders, which is in violation of our Immigration laws. We need only to look at the EU to see how well that is working out! Time will tell.

4. There are others such as AGW; freedom of speech; more Federal control as opposed to State Rights; new and/or pending trade agreements that might be negotiated; and in whose favor, since it looks like there are many countries who have taken part in the "Pay to Play" program, and will expect to get something in return for their millions of dollars in "donations." Time will tell.

She has never promised "transparency," so it's anyone's guess what might be going on in DC in the future. Without "leaks," we wouldn't have known about many things that we are now being made aware of, though, so what else is new?
