Group linked to Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe donated nearly half a million dollars to 2015 state Senate candidate:

The political organization of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s email use.

Campaign finance records show Mr. McAuliffe’s political-action committee donated $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to Andrew McCabe, now the deputy director of the FBI.

The Virginia Democratic Party, over which Mr. McAuliffe exerts considerable control, donated an additional $207,788 worth of support to Dr. McCabe’s campaign in the form of mailers, according to the records. That adds up to slightly more than $675,000 to her candidacy from entities either directly under Mr. McAuliffe’s control or strongly influenced by him. The figure represents more than a third of all the campaign funds Dr. McCabe raised in the effort.

Mr. McAuliffe and other state party leaders recruited Dr. McCabe to run, according to party officials. She lost the election to incumbent Republican Dick Black.

What a nice cosy relationship everybody in govt has - a country of 320 million people, and strangely it's largely run by a small group of people who are all married to each other.

Now that is funny... since the worst offenders are the GOP and Trump. You really think that Trump, who has his kids working for him.. will be any different?

What - you mean Chelsea never worked for the Clinton Foundation? This is the same Foundation that survives by peddling influence with the taxpayer-funded State Dept.

At least Trump's business empire was created privately, and his kids work for this private business - not on the public dime.

LOL 5+ bankruptcies that cost the taxpayer billions.. yea sure he and his kids did not cost the public a dime.. not to mention the sweetheart subsidies his businesses got from government.

Regardless you cant claim nepotism is bad for one candidate and not for the other.. that is utter hypocrisy.

Buddy, you equate offsets against paying taxes with actually receiving money/favors from the govt?

You equate not putting in with taking out.

I am not ignoring anything. Donald Trump is a serial failure pure and simple. He is a con man, and soon he will be convicted of it. He has cheated thousands of hard working Americans over the decades by not paying his bills. He is also a sexist pig and has sexually assaulted women by his own admission. That anyone could think that he is better or less of a criminal than Hilary Clinton... well they should get their heads examined. Hilary aint perfect by any means, but compared to Donald she is a freaking saint.

Sorry pal, Clinton did not receive money from the government, except in the form of salary. I don't think you understand what the Clinton Foundation actually is and therefore do not comprehend the public allegations against it.

Are you suggesting there is something wrong with a Father creating jobs for his children. He is also creating jobs for hundreds, perhaps thousands of other individuals. He's doing better than the gov't at creating jobs. It is one of the issues I admire about Trump.

LOL Trump did not create anything. He got it handed to him by HIS FATHER! In fact a blind monkey throwing randomly at stock listings would have had a bigger return on investment than Trump.

This topic is about nepotism and similar... so yes it is also about Trump. Hell look it up in the dictionary, and Trump and nepotism might be synonyms.
