Hillary Clinton surges ahead of Donald Trump by 11 points in new US election poll

No, I haven't done it. Yet.

Then may I humbly suggest that you never, ever ever ever ever ever subject yourself to something like a Presidential debate when you do it? The only worse decision I can think of is to drop acid in a busy emergency room.

The Clinton lead could increase even more after tonight's televised debate. With his talk of election-rigging, Trump is preparing his loyal supporters for the defeat Trump himself realizes is immanent.

Should I be concerned that Tom received a call from a pollster who hung up after Tom answered Quewtion #1 that he was voting for Trump? Yes, actually, I think so. Nothing is as it seems.

I think it's early to say she will be a one termer. If the economy is good in 2020, there is no reason to think she won't be reelected. Unless Republicans start trying to appeal to anyone outside of their older white base, its demographically impossible for them to win the presidency anymore absent a total implosion from the Democrat they are running against. Today a Republican has to win 40% of the Hispanic vote to win the White House, in 2020 they have to win even more of it.

And if it works out like that, that'll probably be fine. I just don't see it as being especially likely. Elections turn on the economy and the charisma of the candidate, but especially the latter. Clinton has zero charisma, and the only reason she's going to win is because Trump is a maniac. Also, economists are saying that we're due for another recession, and if they're right then frankly she's toast in 2020.

No, she's an unlikeable, humorless, and self-serving, but she's not a lunatic. That's why the business world, ipo's in particular, are waiting on the outcome of the election. Nobody actually likes Clinton, but her primary attraction versus Trump is that she's stable. And if there's one thing the business world thrives on, it's stability and predictability.

Until she tries to slam them with all her higher taxes and regulations.
Good thing congress will still be split at best.

You are right she will be one term if she wins.
She will be more of a fire dump than Obama has been.

Then again if the FBI had done their job and not committed collusion
And corruption then She would be able to run.

She has already sold herself to foreign countries.
The only outcome we will see is how much that will cost us.

And yet the business community as well as economists overwhelmingly prefer Clinton. When you move past the anti-Clinton rhetoric she's not anti-business. And again, that stability thing is gigantic. There's a reason why business doesn't thrive in politically unstable countries.

Clinton far better for economy than Trump, say business economists - Aug. 22, 2016

I predict this will be the most embarrassing event of this election cycle to date. With two wretched candidates spouting Reality TV crap and no substance. It's a shame with what's become of this Republic. We started out with some good ideals, but we really messed it up along the way.

Which supports my point that this country is no longer governable with no borders, no fiscal discipline, unlimited immigration, and corruption at all levels.

You don't have an official name for who you are. "Americans" is as nonsensical as refering to Germans as Europeans.

You don't manufacture anything. You borrow to exist. You don't even have the official language.

You are a mess.

What business? There is no business done here. It's all in Asia and Mexico.

Service and finance makes some rich but it produces no wealth. It's just a game of moving money around from one pocket to another. Like in casinos.

Stock market has nothing to do with wealth creation and does not reflect how quickly the middle class is disappearing like snow in April.

The real "America" is now in a race to the bottom while the global elites are looking for safe places where they can hide when the **** hits the fan.

Actually she is anti-business and soon all these people thinking she is going to improve the economy will be wrong. The only reason that the economy is doing better is because the republican congress stopped
most of his anti-economic proposals and the SCOTUs overturned the others.

showing an article from the Clinton News Network is meaningless.

Simply repeating the rhetoric doesn't make it true.

Wall street and corporations are behind Clinton which means she's a corrupt corporate whore. And she's antibusiness and the business community doesn't support her. I wish the right wing would figure out which narrative they want to go with.

Not sure where you are getting your information.

It is called history.

LOL those that paid her off will benefit just like those that paid Obama off benefited.
if you didn't pay off Clinton and her foundation then well you are screwed and can just go
to the back of the line.

Clinton owes a ton of money to a lot of people and if she wins they will come to collect.

Okay, so the business community is behind her.

This debate is going to be some dark ****. I'm seriously wondering if I should subject myself to that.

Unfortunately there's no football to watch instead, so I'm just going to binge watch Seinfeld reruns. You in?

I almost fell for it.

I read it. Cutely, the author uses the "household" income as the basis. Wrong!

What counts is the number of jobs that pay enough to support a family of 4. Those jobs - paying 80k - are disappearing.

Polititians like "household" income because to those whores, four people making 20k each is the same as one person making 80k.

Just like they like that phony unemployment figure of 5%.

Oh look, more propaganda in the form of a BS Democrat weighted poll...

La Times has them all tied up...

Rasmussen has them all tied up...

Umm well that is what you use to determine prosperity it is household income.
no they are not and you don't need 80k to raise a family of four.

actually it is equal if I have 2 people making 40k and 1 person making 40k then they are making the same amount of money.

Say we have a recession in 2017, most likely by 2020 we are in a solid recovery. Of course, if we have on in 2019 it will be a different story.

Wrong.

When the USA started out Black people and women had no rights.

Things are better now but the USA still has a long ways to go.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time,GOP.

In the meantime, the liberal pro-Clinton morons can celebrate this:

The number of illegals seeking asylum to gain easy access to the United States has jumped 900 percent in less than 10 years, greatly expanding the Immigration population receiving Social Security, school loans, green cards, welfare and other taxpayer funded services, according to figures from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

What country did your family immigrate from? We are a nation of immigrants. That said your numbers are hooey.

That may be. I'm told that "it's the economy, stupid," but I can't help but take notice that throughout my entire life not once has the less charismatic candidate won. Frankly, if Clinton was able to deliver one smile that seemed sort of human, her polls would jump to 65%.

Yes, indeed. A right to abort and a right to burn and loot.

Great reasons to be proud.

I'm trying to understand why minorities don't feel at home in the GOP. And I know that your post contains a subtle clue as to why that may be, but I just...can't...quite figure out what it is. I don't know, maybe it'll come to me later on.
