And if it works out like that, that'll probably be fine. I just don't see it as being especially likely. Elections turn on the economy and the charisma of the candidate, but especially the latter. Clinton has zero charisma, and the only reason she's going to win is because Trump is a maniac. Also, economists are saying that we're due for another recession, and if they're right then frankly she's toast in 2020.

And yet the business community as well as economists overwhelmingly prefer Clinton. When you move past the anti-Clinton rhetoric she's not anti-business. And again, that stability thing is gigantic. There's a reason why business doesn't thrive in politically unstable countries.

What business? There is no business done here. It's all in Asia and Mexico.

Service and finance makes some rich but it produces no wealth. It's just a game of moving money around from one pocket to another. Like in casinos.

Stock market has nothing to do with wealth creation and does not reflect how quickly the middle class is disappearing like snow in April.

The real "America" is now in a race to the bottom while the global elites are looking for safe places where they can hide when the **** hits the fan.

Actually she is anti-business and soon all these people thinking she is going to improve the economy will be wrong. The only reason that the economy is doing better is because the republican congress stopped
most of his anti-economic proposals and the SCOTUs overturned the others.

Simply repeating the rhetoric doesn't make it true.

Wall street and corporations are behind Clinton which means she's a corrupt corporate whore. And she's antibusiness and the business community doesn't support her. I wish the right wing would figure out which narrative they want to go with.

I read it. Cutely, the author uses the "household" income as the basis. Wrong!

What counts is the number of jobs that pay enough to support a family of 4. Those jobs - paying 80k - are disappearing.

Polititians like "household" income because to those whores, four people making 20k each is the same as one person making 80k.

Just like they like that phony unemployment figure of 5%.

no they are not and you don't need 80k to raise a family of four.

actually it is equal if I have 2 people making 40k and 1 person making 40k then they are making the same amount of money.

Say we have a recession in 2017, most likely by 2020 we are in a solid recovery. Of course, if we have on in 2019 it will be a different story.

That may be. I'm told that "it's the economy, stupid," but I can't help but take notice that throughout my entire life not once has the less charismatic candidate won. Frankly, if Clinton was able to deliver one smile that seemed sort of human, her polls would jump to 65%.

I'm trying to understand why minorities don't feel at home in the GOP. And I know that your post contains a subtle clue as to why that may be, but I just...can't...quite figure out what it is. I don't know, maybe it'll come to me later on.
