Trump Proposes Term Limits for Congress

This is one of those few things that I can actually agree with Trump on.

Who do you think you're fooling? In post #41, link is here, I provided you four quotes by me on this thread, two of them were to you and responses you quoted and responded to, where I explicitly recognize they have staff AND that when you have newbies coming in THE POWER SHIFTS TO THE STAFF and other entrenched interests not affected by term limits. You read them the first time, and then again when I presented them in one place for your convenience, and which summary post you also quoted and responded to, the words are clear, so why are you lying?

Ok, I have taken the time to read your posts. I have also taken the time to develop these questions:

The Aids brought into congressmen either A) standard government hire; B) brought on upon election with the congressman/woman. C) SME's

So if you have either A,B, or C working for you newly elected Congressmen, and you have let's say, 3 branched policies per aid worker, why would it take someone with a human brain more than one year to do the job?

I'm not going to debate someone who accuses me of lying because they completely ignored OR totally misrepresented what I said. You've demonstrated you're not going to debate in good faith. And the bolded part is proof of that. I didn't assert anything like that - of course they "do the job." It's not my point, which was clearly stated in post #41.

No, I don't appreciate being called a liar when I did not in fact lie, and had already addressed your false claim, or debating with someone who doesn't bother to read my responses.

Nothing is false about what was said. You're making excuses like a child and still refusing to address the point. I don't even care anymore, this is quite pathetic.

I already addressed your point, several times. You don't read my responses, then misrepresent them, then claim that responses you obviously cannot bother to read don't answer your questions. :roll:

I think this is a great idea - it helps to reduce the buildup of cronyism and corruption, and helps to keep pumping new blood through the system. Since Trump is fighting as an outsider and a reformer, these proposals have more credibility coming from him.

By Congress I assume you mean The House of Representatives and the Senate. That is Not going to happen, Congress, and I mean ALL of them, will say NO!

Don't like who is in office, vote them out, period.

Standing for re-election is the way legislators are held accountable to their constituents. Guaranteeing that in any given term a significant chunk of Congess isn't answerable to its constituents and is thinking about its next job (perhaps with interests with legislative interests before it) doesn't strike me as an obvious way to eliminate corruption.
