Trump slams 'corrupt' media, as more women make sexual assault claims | Fox News

Two more women accused Republican nominee Donald Trump of sexual assault Friday, with a relative of one of them saying that the allegation was "an attempt to regain the spotlight."

Summer Zervos, a former contestant on Trump's NBC reality show "The Apprentice," said the real estate mogul kissed her and groped her after meeting at a Beverly Hills hotel in 2007 to discuss a potential job. Zervos, accompanied at a Los Angeles press conference by attorney Gloria Allred, said she was later offered a lower-paying job at a Trump golf course.
“You do not have the right to treat women as sexual objects just because you are a star,” Zervos said at the press conference, addressing Trump.
Late Friday, the Trump campaign released a statement purporting to be from statement in which a cousin of Zervos said he was "shocked and bewildered" by her account.
John Barry of Mission Viejo, Calif., said in the statement that Zervos spoke glowingly of Trump until the real estate mogul rebuffed an invitation to visit her restaurant during the primary campaign.
"I think Summer wishes she could still be on reality TV, and in an effort to get that back she’s saying all of these negative things about Mr. Trump," Barry said. "That’s not how she talked about him before."

Amazing stuff coming out. I'm really doubting some of these stories.

And the alleged Trump attack on Leeds during the flight now has an alleged witness that refutes her claim.
“I have only met this accuser once and frankly cannot imagine why she is seeking to make out that Trump made sexual advances on her. Not only did he not do so (and I was present at all times) but it was she that was the one being flirtatious,” Anthony Gilberthorpe said in a note provided to The Post by the Trump campaign.

Poor poor misunderstood Donald Trump. I am sure it was Billy Bush who made him say "grab 'em by the *****," because there's absolutely NO WAY he would have treated any of these women without any sense of respect.

God I will be glad when this election is finally over.

As related by Huckabee from his experience running against the corrupt Clinton Political Machine in Arkansas, this is their typical tactic and timing.

Completely non issue based, as they can't win on the issues and they know it, so just smear and character assassinate their opponent, as we can see for ourselves now.

My GOD!! I'm amazed he didn't stick a cigar in there.

That's called strategic politics, and it isn't peculiar to any one politician or any political party. Hopefully I need not recount past instances on all sides with respect to this kind of thing. But second, Hillary was beating him before this happened anyway and momentum had clearly swung to her side. This was just the authoritative final nail in the coffin.

As to why they're coming out now? Well, now they don't have to be afraid of a lawsuit. They can talk about their experience and exact a measure of revenge and justice for what he did to them. Lots of women came out of the woodwork with Bill Clinton too, but they were either not credible, or he was already President. He also didn't have the abrasive demeanor that Trump has and he wasn't caught on tape saying the things that Trump did.

Are there some purely seeking the spotlight? Certainly. But that one tape was enough to do him in. The rest is just piling on, and he has no one to blame but himself. I thought that a lot of this stuff was going to come out last year but the other Republicans running against him didn't have the stones to destroy him then. Why that is, I know not. But that Trump didn't foresee all this coming out is hard to believe. He either didn't see it, which shows a catastrophic lack of foresight and incredible hubris, or he did foresee it and grossly miscalculated the reaction. One way or the other, it doesn't speak well of his judgment.

I feel bad that you have difficulty understanding the differences between sexual assault and mutual consent.

One of the most common themes I'm seeing is the Right's belief that the problem with Trump's comments is they were vulgar.

If Trump sexually assaulted anyone and the statute of limitations hasn't passed, he should go to jail. If the statute of limitations has passed, he should be sued civilly and be justly penalized. If these allegations can be proven, of course. But I'll be damned if Im going to believe all the people who have suddenly stepped forward as the October surprise.

So you'd have me believe that now political and media corruption and occlusion are called 'strategic politics' ?

I'm sorry but I find this completely and wholly unacceptable, regardless from which political entity its coming from.

Hopefully I need not recount past instances on all sides with respect to this kind of thing.

Never in my life has I seen the level of corruption and occlusion between the media and a campaign such as we've seen with the Clinton political machine and the Clinton campaign, so much so that there is no difference between any of them. No, sir, this has never happened before in US politics regardless of how much you assert that it's happened before, it just isn't so, at least to my recollection.

Tammany Hall political corruption springs to mind as a near equal level of corruption to the corrupt Clinton political smear machine, but then, that was Democrats in action as well, wasn't it?
Tammany Hall, also known as the Society of St. Tammany, the Sons of St. Tammany, or the Columbian Order, was a New York City political organization founded in 1786 and incorporated on May 12, 1789, as the Tammany Society. It was the Democratic Party political machine that played a major role in controlling New York City and New York State politics and helping immigrants, most notably the Irish, rise up in American politics from the 1790s to the 1960s. It typically controlled Democratic Party nominations and political patronage in Manhattan from the mayoral victory of Fernando Wood in 1854 and used its patronage resources to build a loyal, well-rewarded core of district and precinct leaders; after 1850 the great majority were Irish Catholics.

You look for accountability from Hillary, and this is exactly what you get.

It seems that you admitting that the Clinton campaign can't compete in the marketplace of ideas, and instead are resorting to a campaign of character assassination and smearing, I couldn't agree more.

The vast majority of the electorate want a change in how DC works, and rightfully so, DC is broken and in great need of change. Too bad that their will will be thwarted by the corrupt manipulation from the Clinton political machine and their biased mainstream media co-conspirators. This will be to the detriment of the nation and a detriment to the future of the nation, as government corruption, such as has been revealed by the WikiLeaks releases isn't easily excised.

Despite the fact that Trump basically said he has done what equates to sexual assault?

His words from 10 years ago, and the words of quite a few women saying that yes he has committed sexual assault is enough for me to believe that yes he committed sexual assault. Is it enough to put him in jail, not likely, but like with Cosby, Roger Ailes when the dam of silence breaks, women who were to afraid to speak up before for a fear of not being believed will speak out. I expect the situation is the same with Trump

He did NOT basically say that. Period.

He did not say that. Quote it. Quote what he said. He did not say that.

I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married.”
“I did try and **** her. She was married.” Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”
“Grab them by the *****. You can do anything

That is what he said

He is saying he will go up to a women, kiss without consent, grab them by the ***** without consent. Just do it, no waiting,

Weeks ago Trump was told, hell some of his people BEGGED him not to go down the infidelity, and sexual accusations road. But he did. Now the crap has hit the fan, his life and his own infidelity and sexual prowess and assaults is being laid out for all to see.

His own ego and never being able to let things go brought this on. This is ALL on him.

I don't feel even a little bit sorry for him, or the 'family value' hypocrites who are still supporting him.

And the operative words are...."They let you do it." As much as you want it to be an admission of sexual assault, it isn't. So stop saying it. It's rude and crude. But it's NOT an admission of a sexual assault.

So. When you're kissing a woman, do you ask, "Can I rub your breasts?" "Can I . . . . ?" Fill in the blank. Just curious.

What is all of this? Envy?

As of there is not enough evidence out there that Trump has used his power to get away with treating women like they are garbage. For ****'s sake, he boasted about it many a time on Howard Stern. He walked right into a dressing room of naked teens... that's cool with you? And just because none of them sued him for doing so does not mean that they loved it and/or it did not make them feel violated.

Well first of all, in your hypothetical scenario did the woman have any expectation that my tongue would suddenly be in her mouth?

I can't help but shake my head. I sometimes feel like this cannot possibly be real.

Trump was right about one thing, though. He said he could shoot someone in the street and people would still vote for him. He was right.
