CIA Prepping For Cyber Attack Against Russia

Wait - I thought the standard posturing from right-wingers is that Moscow wants to destroy the world - but now it's Democrats who've taken over that pulpit.

Right wingers love Putin now because he paid some lip service to the Christian regressive thing

Even if it is a false flag, the story will do nothing more than anger Putin even more to ramp up attacks against whoever it is they are attacking.

I'm not convinced that the DNC and Clinton campaign hacking attacks are by a Russian state sponsored entity. The Russians have much to lose if there's a cyber cold war. It seems more likely to me that it's non state sponsored hackers that may or may not be residing in Russia or the Eastern European states.

It does seem weird that the US Government is going to attack a foreign power for something they did to a private company, ie: the DNC.

I understand Obama is a Democrat first and the President second, but it should not be so obvious.

True, Obama is "Democrat first and the President second", but is it really reasonable to assume that he would deploy the cyber assets of the federal US government, to involve the US nation in a cyber war on behalf of the DNC and the Clinton campaign? The US has as much to lose in a cyber war as the Russians do, perhaps more. So I'm not thinking that this is really going to happen.

I think it just an empty threat, much like the Syrian Red Line.

I am continuously amazed that Obama and his administration continue to leak out to the public their plans in the international arena. Seems that operational security discipline in these matters is completely lost on them.

Putin himself calls his country "multi-confessional"
