‘Poetry for the ear’: Bob Dylan wins Nobel Prize in literature

Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I am understanding this quote now in a more personal way :lamo

That poem was addressed to his father and a very good poem it is.

No, it's about Dylan Thomas's childhood.

The childhood he spent having sex in "the house high hay". He got VD and time held him "green" and "dying".

I thought this must be a joke. It's like proclaiming "Butterbean" Esch one of the great heavyweight fighters of all time.
