I haven't seen growing evidence of anything. Every election we're flooded with stories alleging all this "voter fraud," then the election comes and goes and the cases are investigated and go from 100s of possible cases to a handful or so. Repeat next election.
No doubt there is voter fraud, and where nearly all of the actual fraud by 'voters' happens is with absentee ballots. I point this out every thread on voting and all the links show this to be the case. The question I always have is why NC for example is worried about 'voter fraud' and didn't touch....absentee ballots?
You say I should be concerned "if there is a problem." I agree. No one can show me any data or evidence of any kind that there is a problem that rises above the trivial, except perhaps in a few local precincts or areas, so I am not concerned. I'm not sure how else you expect me to make a decision on this issue.
We have election people locally and at the state level and they worry I assume about voter fraud and take reasonable steps to combat it and by EVERY account I've seen do a fine job. If I want to worry about something real that is far more likely to affect turnout and results, I'll worry about the number of voting machines, wait times, the weather on election day.
Why are you beating a dead horse?
At this point, you don't care. I get it.
Move on.
