Thinking that that is sexual assault would think that the England girl at Abu Ghraib was torturing people. Of course, you can define anything to be assault, if you are silly. This is getting to the point that it is becoming increasingly sensible to get written permission of intercourse in some jurisdictions. Just think of Assange.

It is rape to wake during the night and have unprotected sex with a woman you had protected sex with earlier, unless she specifically say "Do" in some progressive countries. This is true even, if the girl does not respond negatively. This happened to Assange in Sweden.

Like so often in our pc society, the words are so defined as to be useless. As I pointed out below, you would have to define the deed and the jurisdiction. What is perfectly okay in Boston could land you in jail Goeteborg. What you could be prosecuted and sued for in New York you can do with impunity in Paris.

Yep. Assange is still accused of rape for something that would not be assault in most of the US. Why, it happens every day and nobody even mentions it other than on waking with "it was wonderful darlung". You see, you are talking about a very relative set of laws.

So if a woman expects a man to use protection, presumably established at some point in the process, and he doesn't... that's not a crime? This is what you are championing. This is the example you put forth to discredit sexual assault law. Why do you go to such ridiculous lengths to discredit universally accepted law?

And how do you blame sexual assault on "a walk on the wild side" and "not living a protected life".
