Unfounded claim. I seriously doubt that a Jew who holds his religion with any regard would create anti-Semitic images to troll. That would be hypocritical in just about the most extreme sense.

Yet on the ADL website Pepe is listed under general symbols of hate the same way a swastika is classified.

By the logic they use to qualify Pepe as a hate symbol, that's really only a hate symbol depending on context, any meme or symbol could be listed.


This leads me to believe that the ADL had alternative motivations for now deciding this. IMO it is a politically motivated move.

BLM is being used to incite violence and chaos. Yet the ADL chooses to alert the country about a cartoon frog which is supposedly a potential threat when used by certain people.

This is why nobody in their right mind takes the ADL and their supporters seriously anymore.

BLM may not have endorsed riots. However some of the rioters have used the BLM symbol in their rioting. So in the same way a fringe element has used Pepe as a symbol of hate or violance a fringe element has done the same with BLM. The ADL would be derelict in their duty if they did not inform the public that the BLM symbol can be a symbol of hate depending on its context the same way Pepe can be.

You are showing sings of not comprehending that the ADL lists Pepe in the section of general hate symbols. Then in explaining their logic they admit the vast majority of Pepe memes are not symbols of hate. That would mean that Pepe is not a general symbol of hate and is improperly listed in that category.


You can't call something a general symbol of hate then say the vast majority of its use are not in general symbols of hate.

It was a proud wartime symbol carried by brave men

but after the war democrats misapproiated it to suppress black people in the south

Conservative Southerners created it to represent a slave system, their entire economy was a slave based system, and the GOP has fully embraced most of the Southern conservative ideology.
