HOUSTON - Two men drove themselves to the hospital after they say they were shot in the parking lot of a bar not far from NRG Stadium.
The men arrived at Hermann Hospital in The Medical Center early Tuesday morning.
HPD has identified the victims as 22-year-old Damarcus Edwards and 22-year-old Kenyon Tennessee.
One was shot in the head while the second man was shot in the hand and arm and was able to give a witness statement to officers, police say. Both victims were transported to an area hospital in unknown conditions.
According to Houston Police investigators, the shooting victim told police they were in the parking lot of Fat Boys along the South Loop near Hearth when for unknown reasons someone shot at them.
There is no known motive or suspect.

Holy crap. Fat Boy's is about a mile from where I live, and I go there all the time for their burgers. I always get a Shiner Bock draft while I'm waiting for my order. This place is home of the JJ Watt burger, which is free if you can finish it. Nobody can, although one of the Houston Texans managed to finish one once, and it wasn't JJ Watt. It's got 10 pounds of meat in it.

Things have been getting pretty wild in Houston lately. All I can say is that I'm glad I'm moving out of here soon. LOL.

And that is how cities turn into detroit... Crazy stuff starts happening and the smart people gtfo.. Causing the city to further decline until there is nothing left in areas but these crazy people causing it, and they wonder why their are no jobs in their neighborhood anymore..

As hard as these thing hit during times like this, unless the neighborhood has really gone south - it's simply a freak coincident. There was once a murder in a bar I had gone to from time-to-time, just a few blocks from my old house. It was just a freaky coincidence.

Now the neighborhood did later turn funky, and I did indeed move-out; but that was a separate issue from the murder.

Use this to realize the precious gift of life we each have received, humbly count your blessings, and go and spread a little love and cheer around to the people you care about!

Houstons a large city but the majority of people that live in this area live on the outskirts or the smaller towns to the North, West and South.

Yup, the only larger city in the US, in terms of area, is Los Angeles.

Those shooters were good boys. They just ran around with a bad crowd.
