Well, lookee here:
"The vanquished 2016 contender was renting his valuable email list to the GOP nominee for months."
"It took Ted Cruz four months and three weeks of “careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience” to declare publicly that he would vote for Donald Trump.
He made the decision to profit by selling his supporter list to Trump far faster than that.
Just six weeks after he dropped out – and more than a month before Cruz would dramatically snub the nominee at the Republican National Convention – the senator quietly began renting his vast donor email file to his former rival, pocketing at least tens of thousands of dollars, and more likely hundreds of thousands, that can be used to bankroll the Texan’s own political future."

I think this goes to show what B.S. artists these guys are, and how all they do is theatrics to pander for our votes.
And no, I'm not speaking specifically of only these two, but of their ilk in general.
I'm no fan of Sen. Cruz, but he has quite a few supporters who rave about him being 'principled'. Well, principles like this we don't need. Principles like these, I will not teach my kids.
Ordinarily, I try to put a lot of work in my OP, including some original thought on the matter. I suppose we can philosophically debate how this has become the norm, and what it all means, etc., etc. But in this case I have little more to say or do, but just put it out there. I think it's self-explanatory - and illustrative of how the pols play us.
