Well in this case there is no evidence. unless there's a large crowd of international hispanic terror organizations with links to rural pacific northwest communities.

Why would an international terror group waste resources targetting this place? They'd hit somewhere more media dense.

I think he was joking, put up a headline that is true on a text standpoint but causes a lot a clicks because people would associate that headline with Wash DC.

This is pure speculation, do you think it was a hit? seriously, go walks in, kills victim, maybe a couple witnesses for good measure, leaves his gun on a counter, and walks out towards I-5. and hasn't been seen since. drug or business related contract killing not out of the question.

the timing and location are not consistent with a nut wanting to leave bodies, and usually ex's are the first people the cops look at if a woman is the victim, and it doesn't take long for investigators to come up with a list of boyfriends and run down their alibis. especially since we have his full face on camera. that's like a 2 hour investigation to come up with a suspect if it were...

As a WA State native who has traveled extensively in the US (48 states), I was dumbfounded how often people thought Seattle was near DC. I **** you not.

It doesn't appear he was wearing gloves. And he apparently left the rifle on the counter. So one would think they have prints at least.

There are new pics of him out now...

He could pass as Hispanic or Middle Eastern from these shots. There is a very large Hispanic population in Skagit County.

Yes but there's no central database of prints, if the suspect has never been printed the prints won't help. Even if he had been it may not, for example, I have a concealed pistol license, I had to be printed to get it, but state law says once the prints are run the card has to be destroyed, so the only way prints help are if he were printed in a capacity that saves them, like if he were booked into jail in the US or Canada or if he previously held a state job or has a security clearance. we can safely rule out jail because his name would be on all the networks with a mugshot if he were, and I doubt our shooter works for a state or municipal government or holds a federal security clearance

They currently have no idea who did the shooting or why he did it.

It could be a homegrown ISIL sympathizer. It would make sense to attack a cosmetic counter area.

My understanding is that he entered Macy's, shot several people and then left. That's actually kind of unusual for a rampage shooter. Maybe the guy had a beef with Macy's itself. That is, perhaps he was a disgruntled customer or employee.

Odd location for a shooting in a Macy's. Carrying a long rifle shows this was a planned shooting and not a spontaneous fight. If he was an employee other coworkers would recognize him.

Newest report here in Washington state is that witnesses heard him shouting some girl's name. I think that will pretty much tell the story.

And there was a female teen victim.

So maybe 20-year-old Adam Lanza was a kind of pedophile whose idea of having sex with kids was to shoot them.
A hint at that is in the report on the Sandy Hook Elementary School murders released on Monday by the Connecticut state attorney’s office in Danbury.
Among the items the report says detectives found in Lanza’s room were “materials regarding the topic of pedophilia and advocating for rights for pedophiles.”
The report adds, “Not child pornography.”
But maybe Lanza’s equivalent of kiddie porn was a five-second dramatization of children being shot that was found among this things at home.

I'll take your word for that-I used to have a kid I coached (about 14 or so years ago) who was really into that game and when I was over at his house, he and some of my other students used to play it. That was the extent of my experience with that
