Trump campaign chair in Ohio resigns over ‘no racism before Obama' remarks

There is spillover effect, that I agree. But this was a national smear campaign, with Trump at the head of it.

But even if we leave-out the 'unsures' by claiming they have been misinformed without there being any motive or proclivity on their part, we're still looking at 41% GOP and what looks like maybe 5-8% Dems. I've seen polls showing that last number rise to 60+% for Trump's supporters!

I cant remember where I saw it (or how accurate it was) but I remember seeing a poll of democrats that showed nearly half of them believe Bush played some role in the 9/11 attacks. So 'national smear campaigns' happen more often than you think

Nope, although Trump stuck his nose in AFTER it started, and gained traction...He wasn't the head of anything....All he was, was a blowhard with money, and media presence....

You just called your hero a "blowhard."

Birtherism would have never been born if not for the Hillary camp. It originated in her campaign, whether she knew it or not, which I believe she did. I don't believe for a second she didn't know what Sidney Blumenthal was up to.
That may be fair.

None of us know for sure if she was in on it, but she did move to exorcise it immediately.

Trump on the other-hand, ran with it and championed it.

I would hazard a guess that the vast majority of the Democrats who said "disagree" are also voting for Trump.
Hah!

Interesting point.

Clearly they've had opportunity, but to say there was no racism in the 1960's is insane. There's racism all over the world. Not sure where the **** she's coming from. Clearly divisiveness has increased under Obama.

Does that necessarily mean it was Obama's fault?

I agree. I don't see it as racist, just stupid comparable to thinking that we didn't put a man on the moon.

You are right, in that one of the birthers public origins was with HRC's supporters.

However Trump championed the birther movement, and he was it's face. No name is more symbolic with 'birther', than Mr. Trump.

No disagreement, there.

Obama made her not know United States history before 2009?

Trump was only "its face" because he came out vocal, and in usual Trump fashion, bombastic on the issue, coupled with Clinton wanting to back way off in order to meld in with the new Obama administration....So, as typical, demo's start the **** storm, then deny they had anything to do with it, and blame a republican....

While flipping channels I ended-up in the middle of this video yesterday, and thought I was watching an interview of another hate-filled, delusional, bigoted Trump supporter. I was completely blown away when I later realized she was a regional campaign manager!

Man, oh man, oh man!

Sad stuff. Trump has a way of pulling some of the worst out of America. And I can't help but believe he knows exactly what he's doing!

She didn't resign trump fired her.

"Trump campaign chair in Ohio resigns over ‘no racism before Obama' remarks"

Some people are just too sensitive for politics.

Really? Are we going to argue over semantics, especially when we know how things work? She made stupid remarks, and someone from the Trump campaign called and told her that she would be resigning now.....So, is it really a resignation? I think we know better, don't we?

I'd opine the divisiveness has been increasing, long before Obama- the Dixiecrat Revolt was way before Obama. No Sir, the divisiveness has increased no matter the President as America is coming to grips with the gap between 'all men are created equal' and 'some are born more equal than others'. But times are changing and racial/sexual barriers are being torn down.

The divisiveness goes to far more than simple visual race- shallow minds focus on that- no we are now looking passed the 'color of a man's skin' but pass even if 'he' has a penis...

Well some of we are, a whole buncha we ain't... :peace

That's hardly what got her fired; after all, this particular piece of disinformation has been canonized by conservatives throughout the Obama administrations.

What actually got her fire is her condescending and offensive rhetoric regarding how African Americans bear the responsibility of their abject socioeconomic conditions in a time when Trump is supposedly attempting to reach out to the African American caucus.

Racial barriers are being erected by BLM and their ilk. They are liars, and are not going to solve the problem. In fact I doubt they want to.

What got her fired wasn't that she made the comments, it was that she was caught on video making the comments. Otherwise Trumpeteers would just embrace her as one of their own.....in private of course.
